Thanks for the link. I clicked on it was taken to the Meyer Teleservices website. I clicked on the Contact Us link and was able to submit a "Do Not Call" request. We'll see if it works.

We get a call almost nightly from 617-830-4620 and there is never anyone on it, even if I wait for a call center switch to kick in (which is just the opposite of my usual habit.

Have received calls at my work where we have caller ID.  I answered the first time and the caller didn't say anything so I hung up the phone.  Now I just don't answer.  Who is this annoying person?

They have been calling every day, sometimes twice a day, always at different times.  Like the last poster, they've never said anything even when I've picked up.  I don't get it.

I get calls from 617 830 4620 nearly every day, has anyone gotten closer to understanding who is calling us from this number?

Phone rings, I see the number 617-830-4620 but no name, I answer, no response. He re are four recent calls: 6/14/2010 @ 941am, 6/12/2010 @ 220pm, 6/10/2010 @ 626pm, 4/26/2010 @ 627pm.

The company making the call claims to be Meyer Teleservices.  According to a web lookup, the 617-830- prefix is owned by a company called:

It might be useful to complain to them.

They call several times a dau.  We do not answer, using called id but we are going to try to block these calls from even coming in.

I have been also receiving calls with that caller ID #, almost daily, recently. No message.  I just called the company in Waltham and they know nothing about it and can not identify meyer teleservices, although DSCI does provide teleservices.

Also getting calls from this number. Once a day.

I do not know who they are, and I don't answer unknown calls. I have received 23 calls from this number since May 18.  Caller ID has only "out of area". After an unknown caller tries to reach me more than 3 times, I've blocked it with my Panasonic portable so that it rings only once and then disconnects (but shows up on my caller ID memory, so I know they're still trying).  Cheers for caller blocking!

Just got a call from this #. Didn't answer, they didn't leave a message and I blocked future calls. Looks they're still at it.

I believe it is not the first time that I have received a call from this telephone number:  617 830-4620 (ID shows Cambridge,MA).  No message was left. I see many others have received a lot of calls from this telephone number, as well.

Update:  This call was NOT from a Debt Collector as indicated. It should is Unknown.
