got a disconnected call when answered

stupid radio station claim to be calling from and then say takes 4 to 6 weeks to remove no which i never gave anyone

"Hi, this is Nancy Quill from Magic 106.7. I'm so sorry I missed you today. Magic 106.7 wants you to win $1000 in Christmas cash just for listening while you work. We're giving away $1000.04 times every week day and the next time is coming up soon. Put all your radios on Magic 106.7. Listen weekdays at 8:05 AM, 12:05 PM. 2:05 PM and 4:05 PM. Listen for Santa to give the Christmas cash cue to call. It's really easy. Remember the next time to win is coming up soon. Thanks for listening to Magic 106.7"

Recorded message about a contest. This station has just gone from talk, some civil and interesting, to boring music.

I've gotten two voice mails from them in the last two days.  Both times, it was a very confused sounding person saying "Hello?....Hello?...Hello?".  I guess their system does not recognize voice mail when it autodials.  I could block them but I'd rather waste their time if all they want to do is leave prank messages.  "Leave a message" indicates more than sounding like you don't know why you're on the phone.

Call from a "Local Radio" station.  They call and call and call incessantly.

Received a call from the above telephone number. Caller disconnected while my telephone system's auto attendant was playing. Caller ID said "Local Station".

I called the number back...using *67 to block my telephone number. Reached a recording saying that I had reached CTC Teleservices....etc.

We are getting those calls from the local radio twice a week. Never left any messages.

Have been getting calls twice a week lately. Never picked up and they never left a message. Not interested in talking to them and hope they give up soon.

Said she was calling to do a survey on radio listening ages 25 - 54.

Continually calls, they hang up if the answering machine picks up. 3rd call today

Received two calls within the last two days from the above telephone number.

I called the number back...adding the usual *67 prefix. I reached a greeting that claimed that the company was named "ORC/Protel".

Further verbiage indicates that this is a telemarketer.
