- JoeNo idea, this number also called me, left no message. When you call it back, all you get is a busy signal every time. Sounds like a scammer and I don't know the number, so they're now blocked.
- Caller: Tool Bag
- Paul-CReceived a call yesterday from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a busy signal after a long period of silence.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- John TJust received a call, did not answer as it was an unfamiliar number.
Left no message and I tried calling back on another line and got a delayed busy signal.
Sounds like someone scamming or phishing... BLOCK! - LMLThis number called my DNC listed landline today at 1055 hours. Fully 99% of all the calls I get on my landline are scam artists. I let it ring for a bit and then picked it up but said nothing. There was nothing on the other end and the call disconnected very quickly. Research shows it's a scammer/spammer using a VoIP phone number. VoIP, the tool of scam artists world-wide. I will label this as a scam artist seeing they were calling me illegally. Legitimate companies comply with the DNC list but criminals don't care.
- Caller: scam artist
- KLGet called 4/14 5:19p. Left no message

- psno| 1 replyOK- I have been posting this about all these calls. If you do the following, you can reduce these calls considerably, and eventually they'll consider your number to be inactive.
First and foremost NEVER-EVER answer the call if you don't recognize the number. When you answer it just verifies your number is active and it will be sold to others who will also call.
Secondly DO NOT EVER fall for their ploy of being added to their “do not call list” because- once again- it only verifies your number is active and it will be sold, thereby increasing the calls.
This is what I did and it is VERY effective:
1) Check to see if your phone service offers “Selective Call Forwarding”. On my phone you dial *63. This service allows you to forward calls that you designate to any other number anywhere.
2) Compile a list of the annoying numbers and designate any one of the annoying numbers as the number to forward the calls to.
3) If you do this correctly, the moron calls will then be automatically forwarded to another moron. Your phone won't even ring! You can even forward them to a company that's out of business or even your worst enemy.
As time goes on, you may have to review the numbers and add or delete new numbers. I did this for about 6 months and have reduced my moron calls from several a day to one or two a week. Eventually they will think your number is inactive and will drop you from their lists. The good news? NO ONE can get around this like they can with the government’s impotent “do not call list”. If this works for you, please feel free to pass it along and together we can all keep the morons guessing.
Enjoy!! - psnoOK- I have been posting this about all these calls. If you do the following, you can reduce these calls considerably, and eventually they'll consider your number to be inactive.

Pano - thanks for the advice, but why three editions? Please don't spam the very valuable 800notes.- Caller: 617-861-4443
- Paul-C| 1 replyReceived 2 more calls from this telephone number today. Same old story.
- Call type: Telemarketer
- DonRobocall. Said it was a notice to all time share owners (which I am not) about an event to explain the new laws regarding time shares, which will take place in Revere (a rundown urban city that borders on Boston). Clearly a scam.
- Caller: Somerville MA
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Don replies to psnoHave you actually tried this? For how long? For how many calls? Is there a cost for forwarding the calls?
BTW, you might well get into legal trouble if you forward these calls to "your worst enemy." I'm pretty sure that's illegal. If you try to forward the calls to another telemarketing center based on caller ID, the caller ID they show might be fake, so you might cause a lot of trouble to an innocent party. Telemarketers pulled this trick at least once. They used the business number of an innocent tradesman.
The phone companies have the real caller ID, because they need that to connect the number. We need a phone feature that reports the number to the phone companies with a simple press of a few buttons. - JonesHave gotten three calls from them in last 24 hours. No caller id. No message.
- BigA replies to Paul-CPaul pay no mind to the trolls. Around here it is a badge of honor. It means you are doing a great job and they are upset over the fact that they can't scam as many people.
