Phone rang, answered and they immediately hung up

Got a call and they hung up.

Just called I called back. "Hi, this is Lisa from Reward Redemption. You recently visited one of our affiliated websites...." I did not hear anymore because I hung up. Telemarketer. Now on ignore list.

Received a call from this number but they hung up.  No message was left.

Rang while I was on the other line but did not leave a message. I don't do business with anyone in Boston.

Received a call on my cell phone from this number.  It rang only two or three times.  Caller hung up before I could answer.  I suspect it to be a telemarketer or some such call, since cell phone numbers are not published in a directory.

They called and didn't leave a message. I called the number. It's a recording claiming to be "Lisa from reward redemption" starring I visited their website and am due a reward card. But, I never give my real cell phone number out online so I don't believe it. There is an option to be removed from their call list, so I would deem this a telemarketer. I just blocked this caller.

Deplorable practises I will be speaking to my congressman to put a stop to these robo calls and shady telemarketers.

Save your breath!
1) There are already several laws prohibiting "shady telemarketers" from calling ... but telescammers are criminals, and criminals don't obey laws, do they?
2) Obtain a call blocker device, app, or phone.
Google "call blocker" to see the various types, and find one that best meets your needs.

Call received via my cell phone. Hung up without leaving a message. I called backand received the "hello, my name is Lisa. You have reached out reward redemption center. Press one to receive your $100 reward or 2 to block our calls".

If I don't recognize a number I don't answer but begin a research on that number

Sleazy scammer "Reward Redemption" claims you recently "visited" a [unnamed] website and they want to offer you some "deals" - run away, CALL BLOCK this number.  Do not call them back and ask to be removed from their list, it will only confirm you are a target for other calls.  I am coding it telemarketer, but the person who wrote "TELESCAMMER" above is on the money.

Please don't give any information to this number. I got this call and pressed 2. He started asking me where I live so I hanged up. I asked my friends to call the number and got the same thing about the $100. This is a scam and totally regret giving them my information

After reading all these comments I think the whole point is to get you to call them back. That's why they hang up before you answer.
