Also got a call from some woman with an asian accent, she asked my name, then she hung up.  wtf?

Got a call from an Asian woman as well. Didn't identify herself.  When she was told the party she wanted wasn't home she asked if there was a spouse she could talk to.  No doubt a bill collector of some kind.  That's be my guess.

get calls several times a day, never leave message. all times of day from early morning to evening!

These people call several times a day, daily!  I don't answer their calls because there's always someone at the other end who does not speak fluent English and I can't understand them!  I don't owe anyone money, I am not in debt with any company or bank.  Now I let my phone recorder pick up their calls.  They are wackos.

Telemarketer Scum: Hello?
Me: Hello?
Telemarketer Scum: Mr. XXXXX?

Telemarketer Scum: Hello? Is this Mr. X.....

This is an autodialer with a connection servicer (the foreign folk who ask for whoever by name) for a debt collection agency. Today, received a call from the same company while I was already on the phone with one representative and had been for less than 2 minutes! When I called them out on it, I was called a liar. Filed a complaint with the company as well as with the BBB and other agencies. It's harassment.
