Called number back. Answer machine said "Charity Clothing pickup."

It is Don Boscow clothing pick up for charity. Volunteers call to arrange pick up times.

Caller called and asked for my wife. I asked for a name and the male voice said his name was French. I asked him to repeat and he stayed on the line but said nothing.

It is Don Bosco charity clothing pickup.  Good organization and we have given to them for years.  They must have some sort of automated dialing system and the volunteers do not know how to work it correctly.  When I see the number I know that they will be coming soon and sometimes they do talk when I answer it.

Might be a personal cell phone number of a volunteer.  This person said it's the American Red Cross and wanted to schedule a pickup of clothing and household items. They said they have just started this within the month and we will begin to see drop off boxes around town.  I gave them my email address to notify me when a truck will be in the area for pickup. Said they have a warehouse and will use the items for those in need.

Stop calling i will not donate any more

This number keeps calling me.  It shows up as "Christian Soc S" on my caller ID.   I keep answering it, but no one is there.   I don't mind donating, but figure out how to work your phone b4 you start calling me daily.

I have had numerous telephone calls from the number 6183101219.  It sometimes show up on caller ID as Unknown and then sometimes Christian Soc S.  On the morning of July 4th I recieved two calls from these idiots.  One at 8am and one at 830am which pretty much confirms the calls are generated via computer.  I have ATT Uverse and have blocked this number but it is still calling my residence.  I agree with others that I would give these peope anything.  They are very annoying and by the way my telephone number is on a National No Call list so so much for that useless legislation and the politicians who wrote it.

I did some  research on telephone number 618-310-1219 and it is listed as being assigned to Christian Social Services Belleville, IL.  One person above states they say they are the Red Cross, others say they are Chairty Clothing Pickup.  For some unknown reason, they don't want to be identified with Christian Social Services.  They are very annoying to say the least.  I agree with others that I wouldn't give these people a pair of socks.  By the way  Charitable Organizations are exempt from the National No Call List as are Politicians and deadbeats doing surveys.

Made the mistake once and donated.  Now calls all the time.  I might just start telling them I have a pick up and let them come but have nothing at all.  Maybe if I waste their time and gas, finally they will get the hint-quit being so annoying!!!!
