Caller hung up after I said Hello.

they just called my cell phone, a number only friends and family have. seriously, now I have to deal with these people on my cell. I didn't answer.

Called about lowering interest rates on cc.. pressed 1 to connect to an operator. The lady opened with an extremely agitated tone and hung up without saying anything when I answered "no" to her second question, "do you owe more than $4,000 on your credit card?"

Who are these people?

Called twice in two minutes and didn't leave a message either time.

call was from Nebraska on my cell. I live in NJ so any cell call from a State outside of NJ or PA, I don't answer. never leave a msg. for me. When these out of state calls ring on my cell, I just mute the call so I don't have to listen to the constant ringtone.

Automated message stated to reduce credit card interest rate to 6.8 percent press 1.  Caller came on line, lots of background noise, and stated he was with Visa MasterCard services.  I ask him which company. He stated he could help me save on a $4000 credit card debt by reducing my interest rate. I told him I don't have a $4000 balance (my cards are all $0 balance). He immediately hung up

No message left.  Been receiving daily for few days now. Says 'unknown caller'.

Credit card not at risk but calling from Cardholder Services about lowering interest rate.  Well, "whoever" they are, if they looked at my record they would see there has never been an interest rate charged on any month ever.  It is an obvious scam.  Time to warn the elderly and impaired NOT to be suckered in by phone calls that seem so nice.  Those are the people they look for every round of calls.  if you notice, this is also a brand new number.  They switch numbers every month or two when Feds are getting onto them remember.

Just got a call from this number, and immediately identified it as a scam. I pressed 1 to talk to a representative who said his name was "Frank," and when I very politely asked to be removed, he hung up.

No message left.

You should be GLAD that they can't "look" at your record.  I am sure that they are just trying to steal info.  If I don't recognize the phone number, I don't answer.  If you do answer and they ask for you to "verify your card number" by reciting it to them, I would recommend that you do NOT do so.  Do not give them any info at all.  It is best NOT to answer the phone at all if you do not recognize the number calling.  If you have questions about any of your credit cards, you should call the number on the back of that particular credit card.   Scammers also have been known to spoof phone numbers, meaning that the incoming call might look like the phone number printed on the back of your card.  Never, never, never give your personal info to someone who calls you.  Once again, if you have questions, you should initiate the call to your credit card company.

I got a call from 618-326-8958 about ten minutes ago.  I did not recognize the phone number, so I did not waste my time answering it.  This number is now officially blocked.   I am sure that they have more than one number to call from.  I will block them also.  I am tired of crooks and sorry a** people who are too lazy to work for a living.

Called cell phone, didn't pick up; no msg left.  If it is the one about reducing credit card they leave msgs all the time on answering machine at home advising this is your last chance but they keep calling.  Don't pick up.

2 calls in the last two days, Tried to return call but was unable to complete the call....

These people called my cell phone twice in one minute. When I returned the call, the "operator" said, "Your call cannot be completed as dialed." Definitely fishy.

Didn't answer call because I didn't recognize the number.  Just learned through these posts that you can block a caller number on your cell phone. Thanks for that info!

Rachel is back. Complete illegal fraud. Spoofed number. I answered "Sargent Preston of the Fraud Division," and they hung up.

Called me once no message tried to call back and it says call cannot be completed as dialed.
