I keep getting calls from this number; they never leave a message on my answering machine.  On 12/7/08, I received 5 calls throughout the day from this number.  I hit the speaker button one time but said nothing; the person on the line tried to say my last name and couldn't pronounce it correctly, so I figure this is some telemarketer.

This number (618-576-6042) is a Lowe's Credit Center calling to get you to sign up for their store's credit card.  They are located in Hardin IL and FAIL to review their annual DO NOT CALL list CD.  Be sure to call them back and give them a warning that the fine payable to you can be up to $11,000 per call.  I just called them back and initially acted like I was interested (got their email address) then verbally and electronically warned them - DO NOT CALL me or you can help pay a portion of my home (up to $11,000).

I received multiple calls the past few days-no one is there. I called back and spoke with Shironda who says she will remove our number from teh National Do NOt Call Registry.  I warned her that if phone calls continue, I will report them and there are fines up to $11,000 per call. FYI: An alternative number 1-877-41-lowes can be used or you can go to www.Lowes.com to seeif you can file additional complaints.
