Received a call from this number. Called it back and it's "Meyer Associates" a telemarketing company that handles direct sales and political surveys. Their answering machine says their web site is www.callmeyer.com.

Female called my in-laws' house, where I used to live, and asked for me; refused to leave message.

Received many calls from them.  They won't leave a message on answering machine, so I don't answer.  They have called every single day for almost a month.  Thanks to this site I know who they are.... THANKS

About two phone calls a day for the last four weeks.  Caller ID logs it, but I haven't been able to trace the number.

Boy, these people are persistent. They've tried me nearly everyday for the last several weeks!

This caller called at 8:57 pm at NIGHT...come on!!

This caller called for the first time tonight.  I did not answer.  The line was "in use" for a while, but no message.  Now I know not to answer in the future.

My spouse and I work alot, me at several jobs--this number is constantly in the "recent call list."  My community has a very contentious election/bond issue vote coming up--I will be so glad when that is over. Perhaps this number is related to that?

called at approx 8:15 p.m. cst on 9/10/07, no message left on my machine.  Glad to know this is a telemarketing deal but I am on the do not call list and have security screen on my phone so I don't know what the deal is.

So, Did a little searching and i found that this place is based in Hardin, Ill, and is a telecommunication company. I am signing my grandparents up to the DO NOT CALL list as soon as possible.

Has anybody tried answering? Is it a person on the other end or a machine? If you ask them, Please put me on your Do Not Call list, does that work?

It's 7:00 p.m. cst here and these people called.  Annoying because I am on the DO NOT CALL list.  I did try and call them back right away and got a voice recording saying they can't wait to make contact with me 9am-5pm, or something like that.  How do I get off their list?

It's a political survey call. You can have your number removed from their list. Personally I enjoy taking political surveys just so I get to tell them I support Ron Paul for president in 2008

I came home tonight and they were on my Caller ID list. Saw the light blinking so I checked and it was blank. No message left for me at all. Now, I know it was them as they were the only one who called me today.
The only political calls I have gotten lately are for John Edwards (asking for money) so it might have been his campaign calling. Haven't had a survey call in about a month so I don't think it was a survey.

They've been calling for several weeks...Usually I have just let it ring since I was unaware of the number Female asked for my son last night. (He's away at school.) Would not leave message.

They called, machine picked up, and there was a long silence before who or what was at the other end hung up--long enough for me to memorize the number & Google it.  I want the Do Not Call List expanded to cover political crap as well as sales garbage.

They have a Do Not Call List.  You can ask to be put on it at their website through the Contact Us link.

this is a bunch of crap i dident ask for these people to call and i dont know how they got my number. i think it is crap they wont say who they are or what they want just that they will call back. but i know who they are now and am thinking about calling them every day for the next month see how they like it.

For those who are wondering why they get these when they're on the national do-not-call registry, that doesn't apply to political or various non-profits.  I agree with Delain; I wish they'd expand it to include politicians, but I'm still insanely happy that they enacted the national do-not-call registry at all; it reduced my telespam immensely.

I went to their "Contact Us" area to request to be put on their "Do Not Call" list, but it asks for your e-mail address along with your name and phone number. I'm not about to give them my e-mail address -- they would probably sell it and I'd get even more spam. I have caller-id, so I can just ignore them, I guess.
