Im looking to rent a property and these people say they own it but are out of the usa I think its a rental scam

The easiest way to tell a rental scam (and I DO mean easy):
You will be asked to use a cash wire transfer service (Western Union, Money Gram, etc.) to wire funds to them. The reason could be anything, but the fact that you will be asked to wire cash is the clue. These services are never, never, never to be used for an internet purchase, a business transaction, or to send money to someone you do not personally know.

They texted me about a house I wanted in Mitchell, SD. I filled out an app for them for the house and now they aren't replying to me back. Didn't ask for money or anything yet. Still they said they were out of the country as well. Don't really know what to think.
