receive calls at this persons work from Michele Cruz (strong India accent) no # shows up on caller id and she also did not leave a company name, but left a voice message for the person she wanted.  Claims he will be arrested in two hours if he does not return her call.

also received a voice mail  stating same information as above
women with strong accent only leaves threathing message, no information on
a company name or what the call is in reference to.
after intense research, I feel these are scams,

It's a scam associated with internet/television pay-day loans.  People get "advance cash" loans and then get inundated with calls from these dishonest people - trying to bully them into paying hundreds for a loan that is still in good standing.  Call your state Attorney General, consumer protection or ombudsman.  Call you senator or representative.  Enact legislation to end the loopholes that allow this type of fraud!!!!

kept getting calls from this number as well and just received one today and threatened them with Atty General and he got mad and cursed me out and then I called back and it says this call is being recorded, I called as a private number so they didn't have call back nubmer. Each time someone different answers the phone with a different name and a heavy stron dialect.

Just got a call from these junk feeders. They had the audacity to call my job as well. Left same threatning message. Said same cookie cutter speech I've heard from these scam artists "if I do not hear from you or your attorney all I can do is wish you good luck" Heavily accented woman identifying herself as Jennifer Williams. Didnt even identify her company. Called back and a man had the nerve to try to intimidate me by asking "where are you?" as if he was going to arrest me. He was heavily accented as well I told him I would be reporting this number to the autorities and to stop calling my number and my place of employment.

keep on getting calls from this number from different people with strong India accents.  Always saying the same thing.   They become very forceful and disrespectful when you do not do what they want you to do.

I got a voice message on my cell phone & at my employer as well saying that... this message is intended to contact dawn richardson unfortunately i landed up into your voice messaging system so i cannot relay any information on this voice messaging system call me on 6192928426..... i called this people they said me that there is a law suit being filled against me... i was totally shocked what kind of law suit.... he started reading the affidavit & i was totally scared he said me that there is loan has been taken by me... i said never ever i have been on internet to borrow the money he said me that loan has been taken under my social security my email address & my banking information.. so you are going to face all the legal mess in the court house... i said them do whatever you want my identity was stolen... so this [***] people have send the COPS at my employer and my residence as well for verification & my boss fired me from work... & when i went to court house i have given the fine as well of 8500$
bcoz my information were used to take the loan & they said me According to the law enforcement act 1998 whoever private information is used so he have to pay the fine charges..... they have given me a chance to resolve this matter out side the court house by paying the overall amount of just 1500$... but i thought it is a scam after a week i came to know that was a legal matter..... if i would have paid that 1500$ to them at that time i would have save that 8500$ & my job as well so people i would suggest you to reolve this matter out side the court house... Now i am totally lost

And I'm calling bulls--t. Non-payment of a loan, whether or not you took it out, is NOT a criminal offense, its civil. The cops WILL NOT get involved, even if its to serve papers.

I just got a call at work.  A Guy by the name of Shane Watson, he said he had a legal matter with me.  Said that I needed to speak to my investigator.  He put me on hold & came right back to the phone only this time his name was Ron Baxter.  (I'M TELLING YOU WITHOUT A DOUBT THAT IT WAS THE SAME MAN, of  course with a heavy indian accent!!!!!)  

He stated that this is for a loan from American Day.  I have never had a payday loan.  So I have no idea what they are talking about.  I asked him for paperwork in regards to this & he said it was emailed to me & since I didn't respond to the email that I would just have to wait until this was filed in court.  

I don't have a problem paying something if I owe it.  I also know that identities can be stolen however I have horrible credit.  I don't have a bank account AND no one in their right mind would give me a loan, not even a payday loan!!!  


As soon as I told him I believed this was fraud, he ended the call!!  Sounds like a load of crap to me!

Received a phone call from 619-292-8426, the callers name was "Jacob Brown" with a strong indian accent. Ask him to put his manager on the phone, he stated that there was not a manager on the floor, but the magically, he became the manager, then he placed some woman named "Keshia" yet again with a strong indian accent, she stated that "Jacob was in a meeting.

What I will continue to do throughtout the day is call and harrass. Give them a taste of there own medicine. Lets everyone who receives a call from them, reverse the rolls and call them until they get a clue.

Who can I turn this idiot in to for threatening calls?  I got "Kevin Peterson" with an Indian accent.  He is no more Kevin Peterson than I am Mahatma Gandhi.  How can we get this to stop?  This is the third time I've been harassed in this manner.

I just went through a similiar set of calls from another number from a man called Mike Williams.  Reported that and have not had any more calls from him.  Now this number is calling and the caller is a woman.  Haven't talked to her but have voice messages saying the same thing the man did.  Threatens arrest, etc.  Strong Indian accent and hard to understand.  I can just not answer my phone, but the other number was calling muy job and that is a problem, and am afraid this one will too.  The number is 6192928426.  The first call was 0000, the the voice mail left the 619 number.  Surely there is something to be done about this.  Wouldn't it be possible to put a trace on the phone so these people could be located and arrested?  I would gladly help with that.

Just recieved a call from a Jacob Brown. Didn't answer the phone but on my caller id it shows up as1-000-0. Sent the call to my voicemail and he left the same message as all the other fakes have. But this time they made up a new script. They also just called my work and had the last 4 of my social. I told them that they had the wrong social and they hung up. I know these fakes have also posted on this site as well. So if you are one of these's fake people you need to get a life and stop trying to scam innocent people!

Stern call from Michelle Cruz (strong Accent) difficult to understand....finally gave company details but only after pressing for the info. wanted to speak to employee who was on lunch break. She was insistent that I give her the time employee was to return. I informed her it was none of her business but that I would pass along the message that she called.

Yep, Michelle Cruz called my job talking s---! I wish I knew where to find this company. I would rid the U.S. of the entire company (Legally of Course). So if anyone knows where the building is located, let me know. I hate being harrassed.

I have received these calls myself. I did call back and leave a threatening message with them. What are they going to do? Call the cops on me and then expose theirselves? I doubt it. They have told me that my SSN is on hold with the US Government and I will be arrest. I told them that was funny since I work for the US Government and I am sure that if there was something against my SSN that required this type of legal action, then I would have been notified that my security clearance would have been pulled, which it hasn't. I am not sure that they will ever be found. This had happened to me a few months ago also and they were using Vonage so it was impossible to trace the number and they would change it on a daily basis. I have continued to call them back and just start hitting number keys until they hang up. LOL I also informed them that I know they are phishing for information and unfortunately, they have contacted someone that is too smart to fall for their scams. I said I would talk when they mailed me the legal paperwork. Apparently they are not smart enough to know that anyone in their right mind will not present legal paperwork through email.

I kept getting calls from them too and eventually the did the same thing to me. I posted the call on YouTube.
