Recv'd call 2:20p.  no message left.

Rec'd call from this number saying my Google listing was going to be pulled.  THEY ARE NOT GOOGLE.  When I pointed that out, the scumbag lied through his teeth and said that yes, he was indeed with Google, then proceeded to keep talking without taking a breath so that I couldn't get a word in.  Told me that the only way to stop them calling was to claim my listing (which of course would be at a cost to me).  I pointed out that their very own recording stated that if I pressed 9 I would be removed.  Another obvious lie.  

Company name is Katapult SEO.  They will not remove your number if you ask. Press 9 to get removed, and they just keep calling. Extremely annoying. NOT directly affiliated with Google.

Rule #1: We don't do business with companies that make blank phone calls to get us to call them back. Period.
I tried emailing them thru their website. The Contact Us page doesn't work. I tried calling, got put on hold. Hung up.
What a bunch of dumb-[***].

These scumbags call 7 days a week at all times. I have installed a link to my phone called NOMOROBO which is in fact a dead number. These scumbag calls get directed straight to that number without you having to pick up.  It will automatically detect these robo scumbag calls.

They claim they are from Google and that my business listing is in jeopardy.. last time I checked Google was in mountain view not san diego.

I receive phone calls from this number daily. When I have picked up, there appears to either be no one on the line or just someone listening. I just blocked the call. Hopefully, that will stop the calls from disturbing me.

Call multiple times daily but I don't answer calls when I am with clients (which is always).  They never leave a message.  Have reported them to my carrier as SPAM.

This is just a SCAM!! They want me to pay them 399 to save my listing on Google. I've been in business for 10 years and I contacted Google directly and said these SCAMS are going around. The name of the company is katapultseo. The authorities are in the process of shutting them down. Listen to the Live conversation on YouTube by searchng katapultseo. I can't wait until they get shut down for good which will stop all the calls!!

doing a search on this number (which i almost answered b/c it was local), I found the background info from "linda", who recorded their call. I am glad I listened to this, as it never occurred to me that these people were NOT google people. I just assumed that Google was very annoying! to know it's a scam makes me feel better about Google.
with my business, i am always the FIRST one you will find if you do a search (always busy errands), and I have never paid ANYONE for any type of listing, or ranking, or anything.
