619-324-4299 (el cajon number) called me and left no voicemail; [***]!

Yep, got one 11/20/13 1:30 p.m. The stupid FBI thing.

I did a Google search for your "Fbi thing" and came across a large number of scams, etc. Can you provide more detail, this is incredibly vague.

I'm on the federal "do not call" list, so soliciting my phone number is in violation of federal law. They didn't leave a message, but from above comments I'm guessing either sales or a scammer.

I got a call from this number at 11:04 today, but did not answer. Ive been getting lots of call like this in the past 2 days i don't know what is going on.

I got a call from them.  Didn't leave a voice message.  I called back and was given several options, including speaking to a representative, having my number deleted from their DO NOT CALL list and even an option to complain about their marketing practices.  I just hung up because I was fearful that I might be inadvertently signing up for something or doing something if I pressed any of the options.

This is a robocaller that represents they're calling in response to FBI information. ALL robocalls are illegal in California, period, and claiming association with the Federal Bureau of Investigation is a whole 'nother level of stupid.

Same thing.  They called with the FBI thing and what I normally do is ask them to email me information.  That way I can get the company details.  Robocalls have been illegal for a while but only became enforceable in October, 2013.  Either way, clearly illegal.

2 calls in the last few days with no voicemail.  

I gave had several of these calls re: FBI.  Why isn't the government shutting them down?

You can use this link to file a complain with the FCC. I would recommend that you get as much information regarding the company beforehand, i.e., listen through the entire message and ask for a call back and then get the company name, service offered, date and time of calls.  The more detail the better.

They wanted to install a bogus security system in my house "AT ABSOLUTELY NO COST". BS scam telemarketer.

Just got a call from this number and no message/voicemail was left.  I have Google Voice so based on all of your above comments, I have blocked this number.  Thanks.  All of your comments are very helpful.

Home alarm sales call, NOT respecting the Do Not Call list, OR recognizing that they got voicemail.

Can't get the info for an FCC complaint when they leave a voicemail and never ID themselves.

Called once, left a message offering to install an alarm system if I "allow" them to put a sign in the yard.
Called back less than 10 minutes later same recording. I pressed "9" to be removed and it just disconnects.  Call is coming from Alpine. 619-324-4299
