I also received a call from this number. I was not home and would not have picked it anyway and don't have any answering machine so it just rang. It now is blocked as well as the area code. Just came up as Alpine CA, which indicates a scam.

This is a robot call. About credit card debt or something

Called earlier; no msg; will block

ID's as Consumer Asst, I picked up ,yelled "lawbreaker", blew my whistle and hung up. A minute later, a call from 786-247-3444 (Cellular call), female voice said "B...h. I hope you choke..." I guess there was more, but I hung up laughing. So, these two numbers belong to the same bunch.

The company was above phone number on caller ID as shown below

I received another call from the above number today about lowering my interest rate on my credit card. When I pushed 1 to register that I wanted them to stop calling me, a young man answered. I said, "I do not want to be called again!" His answer to me was, "[***]." He repeated it about 7 times.

I don't answer any calls coming in on my landline, especially when it indicates just a city and state. Compared to others, though, I seem to get less calls, based on what I have been reading on this forum. Could be that I do not have an answering machine (deliberately unplugged it) and never answer, very rarely do they call back. I don't understand why people will answer and think nothing of giving out personal information, especially after so many others have shared their experiences.

Call to my cell phone from this phone # was dropped because the # is not in my contact list.

I keep getting calls from the number listed. I called the number to ask them to quit calling me and I was hung up on. I have signed up on the no call list however; I still gets calls from the number.

  I am on the DONOTCALL registry and still I am getting all these unwanted calls.

It stops honest, legitimate telemarketers ONLY. If you're on that list, that should be enough to tell you the calls you're getting aren't from honest telemarketers, likely being either fundraising, political, surveys, debt collectors or SCAMMERS. It works against what it's supposed to but nothing more.

I had blocked these idiots but they called again, apparently their robocaller system, which I believe is illegal, can't understand being cut off immediately. They will not remove you from their list, they know they have nothing to lose since they call illegally and are not part of the do not call registry as legal telemarketers. I still continue to file complaints with donotcall and FTC. They need to be kept updated on the continuing problem and that is it occurring on a increasingly high basis.

They are calling my cell phone, have blocked them but they still get to my voicemail.  Credit card scam.  These calls started out in July from 470-427-0574 (Texas) blocked them then answered on day and pressed 3 to get them to stop so that number stopped, then 217-210-0347 (Illinois)  same thing , now these from CA.  Recording has the same voice msg.  Can't figure out why they can't be STOPPED.  Really tired of it.
