Caller asked if our family was Jewish and stated that a Mr. ? (forgot the name) wanted to send a gift to all Jewish people.

I received the same silly call from a woman who was trying to give me a gift from a Mr. Cantor. Mr. Cantor is supposed to be a wealthy business owner in San Diego who is Jewish and wants to help other Jewish families. I asked some hard questions, like, "Why am I getting this call?" She stayed on script. So, I hung up.

I looked at my Caller I.D. and didn't pick up. The call was from Alpine, CA. There was no message. My phone number receives potential scam calls all day 7 days a week. If you don't have Caller I.D. I suggest you get it.

Got the same call about the Jewish Mr. Cantor.

I got the same call.  She said we would receive a gift in a few days

I received the call from this woman call for Mr. Cantor. She said Mr Cantor is sending a gift to all Jewish families. I hung up.

It's a Jews for Jesus thing.  They want to mail you a DVD to have you become Christian. They are very presumptuous -- they start off by saying we are calling all Jewish families and keep on talking.

This is the second time we received this phone call... They said they represented a Mr. T Cantor and they were looking to give a free gift to Jewish Families and wanted to know if we were Jewish. The number is different but similar. It was 619-324-7734; what is this and why would they think we were Jewish?

Also just got a phone call from a young man. Could tell it was one of those 'call centers' because of the buzz noise in the background.  
He first asked, Is this the ____ family? He said the exact same words as the others said.  When he asked If I was Jewish, I said no. He said thank you and hung up.
(First time I've ever been asked if I was Jewish so I thought that was odd and found this website-especially as the young man asking had a Spanish accent!)
