They are calling me here in Laredo, Texas, claiming to be a company that is checking cellphone services for all cell companies. I just say I'm not interested and hang up.

Fools call at 9:10 PM on a weeknight, wakes up the whole house. I thought these [***] were not suppose to call after 9 PM.

They called at 9:30 am and left a message claiming to be a mortgage company with low rates.

Called and left a recorded message offering a loan. I don't have enough time in my day to block all the phone advertising, so I just ignore calls I don't know. I'm much happier that way.

Left a message on my voicemail. There was a lot of background noise and then someone said "I need your help, man." before hanging up a few seconds later. I was really concerned at first since I have many relatives who live in the 619 area code, but after seeing some of the other notes on here I'm assuming this was just a new hire who hasn't figured out how their auto dialer system works yet.

called yesterday about my being approved for a $20000 loan.  Claimed to be from First Financial Credit. When I figured it was a scam, i gave them deliberately false information and then said I could not talk anymore, my boss told me to get back to work.  Then gave me a web site, firstfinancialcredit.com, for the application.  FFC is located in Ohio.

They called me a bunch of times, I ignored as I knew it was someone I didn't want to talk to (619 area code is nowhere near me). I finally answered, told them they had the wrong number, and they haven't called me since. I'd recommend this method.

Just got a call from these fools. Don't answer the phone; they trying to scam people out of their hard working money.

These folks are relentless. I never answer the call because i don't know anyone who lives in the San Diego area. They callled 3 times today. Don't need any loan.

This is a scam. They offer loans up to ten thousand dollars, but the kicker is that you have to pay into the loan. Please don't give them any information. The claim to be First Financial.

As a member of first financial in Ohio. This is a scam, spoke with bank and they don't call out of cali. DO NOT give them any information!

I am thinking it is the same people that is calling from another San Diego number, 619-798-8605. They always call within just seconds of one another. The 8605 number claims to be with the US Department of Treasury, threatening me with saying I need to give them all of my information, yada- yada, or me and/or someone in my family is going to jail.  I blocked both numbers.

Just received call starting from First  Financial asking if I'm looking for a loan. Said no, and the guy released the call.
