wanted to report this number. getting calls from it from time to time. It's not a heavy caller but would be nice to stop these calls for good. If anyone can shed some light on this number, please do so.

I also receive calls periodically from this number. Caller ID shows BCPF. Any ideas who that is??

Hang up.  This # comes up 3-4 times per night.

Called every day so far this week

The company name is Breast Cancer Prevention Fund, hence the BCPF you see on caller ID.  They will ask you to donate money to their charity.  I said no thanks and they haven't called me since.

Can not stop the calls please assist this is crazy.  I offered to donate money and submitted to them. Now I receive calls everyday every hour after 2pm until 6pm. I have left voicemails asking them to stop calling me.

My husband picked up their call one day, offered to donate to the Breast Cancer Prevention Fund.  When we received our statement, they charged us TWICE.  We called our credit card company to cancel one of the charges.  We tried to contact them regarding this 'mistake', but no one returned our calls nor they apologized for making such a 'mistake'.  I DO NOT TRUST THEM!  I believe any legitimate organization will try to contact donors and thank them for their generous donation instead of ignoring them.

Received call on 7/10/2007, approx. 12:04 p.m. (PDT).  Answered phone, said "Hello" at least twice, but no one said anything.  After a few more seconds, the line went dead.  This has happened at least once before:  7/03/2007, at 6:22 p.m.

these people are making me nutso. they have called several times in the past two days. when i call the number back it goes to an exchange where you have to choose 1,2,3,4,5.....to connect to your party.of course there are no names or a directory. just now they asked for my husband and when I told them he was at work they hung up on me. not good business practice if you ask me. it bugs me when people call and don't leave a message especially in this day and age of CALLER ID! make them stop!!!!!!

I keep receiving calls from 619-374-7701 but not messages.. I simply don't answer when I see the caller id.  i went on the internet to find out who owns this number and clicked on link for reverse lookup.  what a bummer.  they want $39.95 to obtain the info!!!! they spam artists running  these telephone web sites are as bad as the jerks who keep calling.. they all want one thing, money money money.  No one is here to help you.  my advise is get caller id and DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!.. if your curiosity gets the best of you then you deserve everything they do to you.

I answered at 6:43p.  No answer on the other end.

BCPF IS NOT A CHARITY!  They are not registered as a recognized federal charity.  THEY ARE ALMOST CERTAINLY A SCAM!

Found in my telephone CID when I came home tonight.  The call was at 7:25 pm.

Got a call from them at 8:50PM thisevening. I had no clue who it was on the caller ID but picked up the phone and I just listened. I couldn't understand what the chick said but I just listened and hung up. Glad I found this website, I think it will be useful!

They have called my home 4 times this week.  I'm glad I've read this post

They called me while I was having a conversation with a friend. I had to hang up to talk to them - to tell them my parents aren't home - then they hang up. Next time they call again, I'll fake as a pizza parlor or something. hehehe
By the way, I looked up this site from google-ing their number and "BCPF". Hope others have done that too, so they know not to "donate".

Caller named "Matt" called to ask for my partner by name.  I said "No, this is George.  Are you calling to ask for money?"  He hung up.  I was annoyed and called a friend who is very involved in breast cancer fund raising.  She said she'd never heard of BCFP, and thought it might be a scam.  I went on line, and I've read all the comments.  I called the number on the ID, and I got a very big phone tree but no human being.  Avoid these people.  They're up to no good.

Call received 8:30 PM.

Been getting calls from BCPF for about 3-4 months.  They call anywhere from 2-3 times a week.  Every time they call they hang up.  I get other calls like this and if I don't hear a voice within the first second........I hang up.  I have hung up on BCPF about 4 to five times.  No voice in the first second they are gone.
