China dude named liu called me trying to buy a truck i put up for sell in craiglist. He said he was going to send me a check by mail with extra Money (enough for the delivery) so when the check clear the bank he will call a shipping company and have the truck pick up and send out. Ummm weird. Im waiting for the check so i can report him to FBI, im thinking its a scam. No one send extra money to someone you dont know.

The check will never actually clear although the funds will be available 3-5 days after you deposit it.  I bet he will want you to wire the extra money to the "shipping company" for the pickup.  But then 10-14 days later you will receive a notice from the bank the check was a fake and no one will have arrived to pick up the truck.  Tell him if he wants the truck to be picked up, he pays the full amount to the shipper and has the shipper bring you cash.

I have no intention to deposit that check, im playing their game so we can track them down some how. I am aware that this is a scam, i want the check so i can turn it into the FBI. I want them to get what they deserve... Jail.
