"Melvin Dixon" called from this number to inform me that I had been approved for a $10,000 loan I supposedly applied for online on <date> (which I hadn’t). He said he had my application and social security number and asked if I wanted to proceed with the loan. When I asked, he said he was from First Financial of San Diego (a legitimate business) and gave me the real address. I called my state’s Attorney General’s office which confirmed that it was a scam.  He suggested that I report it to the FTC (1-877-382-4357) which I did.

I received multiple calls from them. Each time they have left a voicrmail saying I was approved for my loan, which I never applied for.  Each time I called and asked to be removed from their list. Which they have not done, this last time the man was even more rude then before and told me that if I call them again they will harass me every day on my cell phone and home phone. Where can I report this so called company.

I received a call from this number. A man who spoke with an Indian accent, told me that my loan was approved. I never applied for a loan from First Financial. Actually, I have never heard of First Financial. He tried to argue with me that I had applied "on line" for the loan. I told him to remove my number from his list or that I would call my state's Attorney General and lodge a complaint. I am on the Do Not Call lists.

Have been getting constant calls from these people.  Left messages about a loan as well.  No one that I know of in my family has applied for any kind of loans.  I don't know if it's someone using that as an excuse to get personal info for something else.  Told them to stop calling and take me off of the list....4 days ago....and they're still calling me.

Just got a call from them asking for me. Since I didn't know who he was I told him I was not home. He left a message for me to call back saying that I was approved for a loan, which I know I had not applied for. The number he gave me was not the one on my caller ID. He told me it was his direct line 858-222-3640 and that his name was Melvin Dixion.

On November 8th, 2014, I was approved for $10,000 business loan for my company, Joy’s Creative Arts. I never applied for them. This First Financial company claim there were some problems such as my credit score, there is a red flag on my credit report, had to pay business insurance, I owe cash advanced, which I never applied for or owe anything. They told me to use the Vanilla Reload Network card to pay $215 for business loan insurance, $280.00 for credit repair, $495.00 for western union deposit, $320 for a cash advance loan that I never apply for and $635.00 for payday loan I never apply for. They I took money for payday loan and cash advanced, but I do not remember to apply for these loans. I never sign any agreement, but they send me some form I never seem to claim I never paid payday. I never sign up for these loans. I though I would get the funding by now, but end up not being the case. I also never seen the application. I want them to leave me alone.

No one here can do that.  These people are Indian or Pakistani hard core scammer/extortionists, as such they are beyond the reach of US law.  Call blocker is your best bet and do not pick up on calls you do not recognize.

Received several voicemail messages from this number.  Each time the message was in mid-sentence and was left by a woman requesting a call back concerning a loan approval and giving a confirmation number.  I have not, nor will not, return the call, but after reading these posts, I plan on reporting this number to the appropriate authorities.

These folks have been calling me for at least a week.  Interesting that aout 30 days after my mortgage company sells my mortgage, I start getting these calls.  I think the new loan servicer sold the contact info for its new loan package.  Finally I returned one of the messages.  Interesting that the message is an American accent but when you call you get an indian or asian accented person, who cannot pronoune words properly.  When you try to explain to them that you did not apply for a loan they do argue with you, saying that you did.  They are rude, they swear and they hang up on you when you start to question them.  I finally got ahold of a supervisor and from what I was able to get is that thy do buy lists from credit cards, loan servicers, department stores etc. I've reported them to my state atorney general and on the next business day will report them to the federal trade commission.  It is scarry because I can just seeing them calling seniors on limited incomes and inocently those seniors give them the info they want to steel their identity or "loan" them money at 50% interest...
