unidentified caller

have gotten two phone calls today from this number and they hang up ...I tried calling the number back to find out why they keep hanging up ...and it sounds like a dead phone .. just a ring and silence

Rcvd call from 619-489-0077 on 06/17/15 @ 9:22am: Caller ID shows BURIAL INSURANCE; I did not answer the phone.

What does Comcast Business Internet with address (Chula Vista, San Diego) California, have to do with BURIAL INSURANCE.

I DID NOT ANSWER PHONE!

This number calls several times a day on my home phone.  There is nobody on the other end.  I've tried calling the number back but nothing happens and nobody answers - it doesn't ring on other end.

This number has called my phone FOUR times today.  I don't answer because the caller ID says, "Not Available."  I am on the National No Call List and this doesn't seem to help.

Caller did not press required digits to complete the call. Probable robodialer.

Callers not in our database must press  a digit  in order to complete their call and ring the phones. Since robodialers don't do that, the phone doesn't ring.

When we review logs, we check the number to see if it's legit. If not, we configure our system to return a ' number disconnected' time and message.

We logged one more call JUN 29 2015 at 10:32AM EDT. again, the call did not complete, and this time they received a 'number disconnected' response.

Typically, when they get that response, calls from the numbers go away.

FYI, this post may be helpful - copied from callercenter dot com, dated June 20 2015, for this number;

"In the last 3 days, I have received 5 calls from this phone number. Each time I answered there was silence.
Today when the "Out of the Area" message came up, there was a Male caller (with Jamaican accent) who said he was calling from "Senior Benefits" and immediately asked "How are you doing today?".
I replied: "Please put me on your DO NOT CALL" list.
He said "May I ask why?"
I said "No, you may not ask why! You don't have the right to ask me why. The law says you are to immediately put my phone number on your Do Not Call list."
He said "Yes I will do that but I want to know why"
I replied: "Please put me on your DO NOT CALL" list NOW.
He hung up!"

Based on this, it's yet another telemarketer pest targeting older people.

Yet another what I would say PRANK call. Someone getting a auto dialer and keeps making these calls and they are nothing. My caller ID says Burial Insurance but never anyone there. Just someone with much time on their hands.

This number calls my home 5- 8 times a day.  I have requested them numerous times not to call again.  They continue to call!

Burial Insurance started calling about two weeks ago.  I finally picked up the phone last week and actually got someone, told her we had a burial plan in place and to put us on their do not call ist even though we already are on the national do not call list.  She said they would.  They continue to call and when I have picked up the phone to request they stop calling, no one is there.  So annoying.

Yeah, what you actually did by answering the phone and speaking to the person on the other end was the following:

"Hi there. I know I'm telling you to not call me again, but in reality please continue to call me whilst issuing a positive hit against my phone number on the Dark Web lists for use by other scammers because I've just told you that this number is completely active."

they just keep calling.  I finally started picking up the phone and hanging up without saying anything...  seems to be working

This number has called me 8 times in 2 days. Tired of it!  I never answer calls I don't know.

First I always hear that sound "boop" -- I've found it;s ALWAYS connected to a robo-dialer, the "boop" is to alert some scumbag to pick up on ***their*** end, the robo has located "a human saying 'hello' or any other word reply" --

but most of the time no one ever picks up, just a few seconds silence then a hangup. These beasts have called as early as 8AM and 9AM!!! And just last week they called FOUR TINES in ONE HOUR! One was a person, and I asked  to be taken off ALL of their call lists -- they have TONS of numbers, and seem to constantly add new ones -- some say yes they will remove me (but they don't) and one cheeky 'female dog' said right to my face :"No, I won't remove you." WTH is up with THAT?!!?

This number has called me at least 6 times in last 2 days. When I do answer I get no reply then it hangs up. Tried calling the number back and get nothing but silence.

senior benifits ,my name is xxxxx how are you today,asked who they want,reply Mr xxxx this is not Mr xxxx number,so don't call again ,but they keep calling, and I'm on the do not call list.
