I got call from this number but they did not leave a message. I don't answer unknown numbers

Received six calls from this number today, comes up San Diego 619-736-3970. On one call I answered and a rude lady wanted to speak to my wife. She hung up immediately and I got a call from same number a few seconds later and two more after that. The number is now blocked.

I've received 5 calls from this number in the past 2 days but don't leave a message and I don't answer unknown calls.  shows as San Diego on Caller ID

22 calls in four days. 21 hang ups after answer. Last one identified herself as AO Solar .. Asked to confirm my name and status as a homeowner. After I explained I was renting they hung up.

I had 5 calls in 2 days. All hang ups until the last one. I normally dont answer calls from numbers I dont know, but I sleep days and answered one by mistake in my sleep. I told him I rented and hung up. Have had over 30 calls from this number in the 4 days since then! I have an old phone and cant block the number.

tried to tell me about government grants-sounded like a scam

Caller Identified as calling from Gov't Grants Program. Asked for me by Alias, so I immediately hung up and blocked number.

Claiming to receive grant money from the government

It's a scam, think about it, do you think that the US government is going to randomly pick out your name for a grant. Hahaha [***]!!!  There's no government agencies out of Chula Vista, Ca. I told her to f•ck off and hung up.

Constant calls, no voice mails, I don't answer unknown calls.  But I am frustrated.

I keep getting this number, no message or anything. I blocked them but every 3 mts it comes back.

A women with Asian accent calls from # 619-736-3970 stating "I won a survey grant from the US government". She states I am to receive $ 9,000.00 free Gov't grant "monies". She asks how I want to have this money/grant sent to me. She asks for a bank institution account, credit card, visa card or if I want the money sent via western union or money gram. Of course this money is "free" and "can be used for any needs I may have or want". She repeats my phone number, my name and correct address to me so I can verify the accuracy. Then she gives me her "supervisor's" phone number #315-288-3118, which I am to call immediately after our phone call. All this sound quiet surreal & I am suspicious (as anyone should be). So I wait for 10 minutes, then call the number of her "supervisor". A women with a thick island/Haiti accent answers "hello". I told he I was informed to call this number, she states quickly "He is not here, call back in ten minutes" then hangs up on me. No, I'm not calling back. Please be aware if this scenario occurs to you. HUGE SCAM

Indian accent. Most calls are scam. Not considered Asian at all

This number, 619-736-3970,  just called me. It was a woman, who spoke pretty fast and had an accent. Unfortunately I don't know what kind of accent. The lady informed me that the US Government chose me to receive a grant for $9000. I can do whatever I want with it. I was asked if I wanted to receive the money via money gram, western union or financial institution ...Visa, MasterCard & so on. I played along and picked money gram. I was told to call "The Supervisor of Money". She gave me a confirmation code and the number 315-288-3118 and said to call immediately after the call or in 5-10 minutes. If I get a busy signal then I should call back in 5-10 minutes.  And, she will call me back to ensure I got through to the Supervisor. I have not called the Supervisor and am waiting for her to call me back so my husband can talk to her and ask what branch of government she is from and a few other questions. I am going to tell her I didn't get through to the Supervisor of Money and see if she will answer any of the questions my husband has for her. (hahahahaha...sorry but this is all too funny for me) I am pretty sure this is a BIG scam.

Asian accent...9000.00 Grant just for being a good person ( essentially)......was very skeptical .  I asked for a website re Government Grants....and was given www.grants.gov.  Which is legit, but just gives a lot of info re Government Grants in general.  I did a search on the # and found you guys!   A scam for sure...beware!

Government Grants scam...  "You have been chosen from your area to receive a $9,000 grant from the government for paying your taxes on time and not filing bankruptcy in the last 2 years."  I told her that it was total BS, the government doesn't just hand-out money, and I told her I was going to report the number.  She quickly hung-up on me.  I have since received another call from a number local to my area.  I didn't answer it. I later tried to call the number back.  The call cound not be completed.

A man said that he was from the U.S. Government, and I was selected to receive a $9,000 grant to use for anything. I laughed hysterically, then hung up!
