This was a recorded message, by someone who does not speak English fluently.  The message implied that if we did not call back on the number provided, that we would be arrested and sent to jail.  

Also got a recorded message from a caller with a foreign accent implying he was some sort of government official and terrible things would happen if I didn't return his call.  I poorly executed scam.  These guys are pathetic.

Just received a call from this number.  It was a recording of a man with a foreign accent.  I couldn't understand a lot of what he said, but it was something about how if I ignored his call and didn't call back I would be in trouble with the federal government.  I'm pretty sure if I were in trouble with the federal government, I would get a call from a real person rather than a recording and they would ask for me by name.

Received same call from this number 2x today. Same message from foreigner saying I would be in trouble with government.  Scam.

Just talked to someone from this #. They claimed I filed my taxes wrong and owe the government money. When I told him I was recording the call he hung up. Now I'm mad and I keep calling back and they hang up on me. These people are probably scamming people out of alot of money.

I got the same message, left on my voicemail, threatening serious attention for ignoring a call to stand before a magistrate or federal grand jury, with consequences including a serious federal criminal offense.

I hope somebody finds these people soon, before they collect a single cent from any unsuspecting victim.

Just received a call from this number.  It was a recording of a man with a foreign accent.  Called back, he said IRS investigation force will be in 45 min at my door step and arrest me. Got my toothbrush ready :)

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.

Just received two calls from the same foreign-accented caller on my answering machine.  Clearly a scam.  Will report it.

Just got the same call with foreign accent.   Has tried multiple times this morning.  Can't believe these idiots waste their time.  Unfortunately, it must work though because they keep doing it.

Yeah...same crap....they've called about 4 times in the last 2 hours. Indian accent, broken English, such a credible person and message....LOL.  

Same as the complaints above.  Go to IRS...tigta.gov and click red button an right and you can report this scam...When I asked for his name and badge number, he replied "James Bond" and then said he was about to send US Marshalls to arrest me...became hostile...heavy foreign accent.

I received a recorded phone call from a man speaking in heavily accented English. He claimed to be calling from the Department of Legal Affairs at the US Treasury because I am facing "federal criminal charges.".  I called back and a woman answered the phone (also speaking in heavily accented English). I asked her who she represented and she said the Department of Legal Affairs at the US Treasury. I asked for her name and she said "Caroline Miller". I asked her to spell her last name and she said M-I-L-L-E-R. Then she hung up on me.

Same here - l received a call from "Dean Martin" stating there is a warrant out for my arrest by the IRS.  I called back, he stated I didn't pay the correct amount of taxes for 2009 and 2010.  I asked him why I wasn't served with the warrant, and the phone went dead.  Several attempts to call back got busy signals.  These dopes have no conscience!!

Update - a second call now tells me I owe 2011, and in 45 minutes I'll be arrested.  Phone went dead again!!

I reported it as well he is calling from 2 separate numbers so far today I reported both numbers

Just got the same phone call when i called back the woman told me there was an arrest warrant issued and if I hung up it would be executed. She told me it was about 2008 and 2010. and then it was 2011. when I questioned that she hung up on me. I called back and they told me the called got disconnected. I asked who gave them permission to scam people and he said Barack Obama. and then hung up.

I got same call form 619-752-8641.  I had heard of scam on news.  But I called back and tried to waste as much time of theirs as possible.  I believe there is a room full of people in India and they are paid on commission.  SO the worst thing we can do to them is waste their time.  Listen to what they say then put them on hold while you "speak to your spouse " etc.  Let them give you instructions on how to wire the money.  LOL!? what a joke. Just waste their time.  [***].  I hope the US can find a way to reach them!!  At the end of the call tell them you would like an order of goat curry.
They will block your number when you waste their time.  Then call them back at 619-752-8641 and do it all over again.
