- C-Dawg| 5 repliesReceived a call from this number offering a $100 gift card and a $50 restaurant gift card for a one time fee of $1.95. Supposively this is for filling out a survey for some app that they don't clarify in the strange automated message.
- Alexis Soto| 1 replyYou called?
- Alexis Soto stuck in CT replies to Alexis SotoLol we need a life
- Mflower replies to C-DawgSame call like that, I just hang up, I think it's a spam
- Me2nd call I've answered. They told me they're are calling me bc of "an app I've downloaded to my device" (is that allowed?) and that if I answer some survey I'll receive a $100 gift card & $50 restuarant card. This is where I promptly hung up & blocked the number.
- don'tcareJust got a call. Automated message. A clever one as "she" repeatedly asks if you can hear her and then "says" I'm going to turn up the volume, after you do the whole 'hello? hello?' thing a few times. Mind you "she" says hello a few times, too, adding to the perceived legitimacy of the scam. They then offered a $100 gift card and a $50 restaurant gift card for some vague sample package or something. They never really quite state what it is- I guess is there to confuse you on purpose- and then "she" sent me to some person to fill out the mailing address. The please hold voice sounded like a young punk kid.which shows this is probably a very small operation or a small ring among a big one. Hung up during that time and checked out the number.
If you screamers are lurking to better see how you can improve your scam then I hope the feds get you. If they don't get you then I hope your place burns down with you [***] inside. - I'm MeI just missed this phone call and will be blocking it on my phone. Stupid scammers..
- FlushingGot a call, no answer, hangout itself.
- HeatherI got this same call a min ago and it didnt even ring just seemed like my phone actually had been answered then they hung up weird
- Be AwareGot a call from this number, went through the process, but when it got to the point of asking me to give my card # for the "$1.95 processing fee" I asked for the company name, address, and to speak to a supervisor. The "person" I was talking to just kept reassuring me that they were an "accredited shipping company" and that the law was on "my side" if there are any charges to my card; but never answered any of my questions and wouldn't transfer me. I was finally able to get a phone number from them, (855) 604-3979, which I promptly looked up and found multiply post about it being a scam.
