How did you stop the phone calls

Called my cell phone before, anyone with a thick accent I always say wrong number. When I got back to work from lunch he had called my employer 4 times threating me and telling my boss/owner that he needed to garnish my wages, which can't be done until the court says so. Also when he called my cell phone and I told him wrong number, he asked who this was then and I said Amber and to not call me and told me that I needed to tell Vanessa she owes him $487 and if she wouldn't pay they would set fire to her home.

Some idiot who could not be articulate claimed to be a police officer and that there was an importnat legal matter I needed to call him back about before the police would take action against me.  This is definelty not legal!

Just called us today, obviously a prank. She had accent and read from a script. Said she was from Sheriffs dept, didn't say which county or even state. So aggravating!

A person named Officer Anna Jones stating that she is from California - trying to arrest someone here in Texas that is a criminal.

I also receive a called stating that when I return to work he will send the police to have me arrested and if I fight back they will beat! This has got to stop!

A man with a thick foreign accent phoned me saying he was from a law enforcement agency and I better pay him money or "bad things will happen to me & good luck to me if I don't.

Received several call from this number yesterday, the gut would say this is a legal matter and I need your information.  When I would ask what legal matter this was he became upset and said you know what I'm talking about just give me the information I need.  I refused to give him anything so he hung up and called back about 5 times.  So I waited an hour and called him back, at that time he did not want to talk.  So i did to him what he did to me I kept calling back each time he would hang up.  He pretended to call the police on me and say i can't help you anymore you are going to jail.  Then some lady with the sam accent called talking about the police will be there in an hour to lock you up, I told her send them I'll be waiting.

Got the same message as well. Some guy with a very thick foreign accent advising that I need to call back and I need to call him back because of a time sensitive matter; "don't ignore the message, do return the call, as this is important.... If you do not return the call, I wish you good luck." I get a call several times a day with the same number, for the past month. I do not know how to get this guy to stop.

Several months ago, I signed up for www.donotcall.gov, to keep telemarketers off my private line. I don't know what else to do. This is becoming a very annoying issue, and I just want it to stop before I flip out on the guy and harrass him instead for annoying me.

I received a called today. It was a very aggressive female on the other line shouting at me that I was a criminal and that she was calling the police to pick me up and that they were going to prosecute me. I tried to get info from them and she just got irate with me and starting yelling at me. She then told me never to call the number that showed up on my mobile. She then hung up on me. I called back and tried to get an explaination. Turns out she was looking for an old employee of mine I guess he used my number as a point of contact. I informed her I was not that person so she said what the hell are you calling me for. I just said im sorry lady you called me first and called me a criminal. she hung up and now will not answer the phone whenever I call. Total waste of space

keep recieving calls from this number claiming to be a law firm and they were investagating me. This a a big scam when I called the number back and told them I gooogled the number and read them some of these comments they became angree and hungup on me.

This jerk was calling my daughter and threatening her with arrest.  I called them back also. He got very rude and said he knows where I live and he's going to make it miserable for us. I let out a few choice insults and then he called me the N-word.

A friend received a threatening call from this number and reported the number to the FBI.  He was told to file a complaint with the Federal Trade commission.  You should all do the same.  www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov

This idiot has called me in the past - same accent/always a different story.  He even called my workplace posing as a police officer.  I have tried everything under the sun to get him to stop.  He stopped calling for 6 months after a coworker threatened him with a law suit and not to call my place of employment.  He has started up again.  I have made several complaints with the FCC - don't know what else to do!!!!  I've cussed him out, threatened him with the police report, you name it.  Tried calling him back and the number disconnects....I've had it!  I work nights and am fed up with this!

A Mr. Steve Smith called my work and said that it was very important that i called him back that he is from a  Legar Services agency. I had recieved a call like this last year around this same time at that time this person provided all of my personal information and asked that i confirm it he said that there was a law suit againsts me and that if I paid a certain amount of money that he's client would drop the law suit. I did not confirm or approved any of the information he told me.  Today this person called my work number again asking that I called him rigth away that it is very important.  I have reported this number to the FTC agency for inventigation.
If you are getting calls from this number report it to the FTC.

Just called me and told me to have my lawyer and myself call him back and if I did not, that I would need good luck because bad things will happen to me. Do they really thing Americans are this dumb? That we will give money to any one who calls and claims they are owned money! Come on

He calls with an Indian accent threatening to take legal action. When I said for what I havent done [***] he said he could only talk to my lawyer. I said I haven't done anything for legal action AMD hung up. He called back 5 fmore times and then answered saying ,"oh your a smart guy, you think your smart" I then said "i bet your gonna tell me different." I then said do what your gonna do just don't call anymore. He called back and left a threatening message. It's a scam
