Car warranty call.  I dont own the car any more but they keep calling.

Called my cell phone a minutes ago, same car warranty scam

It's an auto warranty scam.  I called the person a fraud and told her to go back to school and get her GED.  She told me she'd make sure they call me every day and hung up.

Just received call-- second car warranty call in two weeks. The first time they called I pressed 1 to speak to representative and told the lady I do not own a vehicle and to remove my number from list, and she agreed. This time, I immediately the asked representative what company he was with-- he hung up on me. Next time I'm going to play along until I get more information in order to report them...

Just received a call from this number at 10:57 EST in Michigan. Like most, didn't recognize the number so I didn't answer. No voice mail.

This number called me at 11:39 am No one said anything

Got a call around 9:30 I'm also in NYC. Didn't answer/ no message left. I tried calling back but the number was disconnected.

Something along the lines of "Did you know your warranty may expire soon? Press '1' for more information." It's an autodialer that then transfers you to a call center. I transfered through and asked to have my name removed. The employee said "That's not my job, sir." and hung up.

This is definitely a completely random dialing algorithm because i have never had a car warranty in my name at any point in my life. I live in NYC but I have an Albany area code.

I just got a phone call from him too! I missed the phone call and no message was left. This is weird!!!

Received July 24, 11:50 EST.  I live in Boston but have a 917 area code (NYC) on my cell.  Didn't pick up - per Google, registered to Jeremy Denwalt in Argonia, KS.  (And I don't have a car.)

Rec'd call on cell in TX 7/24/08 @ 10:46 am.
No ID, no vmail left.
Soooo tired of these warranty calls on home phone too.

Apparently registered to one Jeremy Denwalt in Argonia, Kansas. But I, too, didn't bother answering to find out. I never answer calls for numbers I don't recognize. If important, they'll leave a message and I'll call back if I want to. Or not.

I got a call at 11:24am.
When I picked up no on answered.

Automated message about car warranty expiring or about to expire. Female voice. Is there any money in this? There can't be that many pigeons out there, but I get a call similar to this one about every other week. I believe this is the first one from this number. Grrrrr!

just got a call from this number and googled it. i never answer numbers i don't know but no voicemail either. just figured it was a telemarketer or something. weird how they have my cell phone though.

Just received another call from these people about a warranty being up. My car has been paid off, its a 2001 and there is no warranty. I have received a number of these calls and today was the final straw. I advise everyone to follow in with me as I have contacted my lawyer in a harassment suit, possibly fraud.

I have received several phone calls from this place and today I looked it up and found this. I wasn't expecting this. He called my cell as well. at 11:00 am CST. I am curious where they are getting our numbers from.
