NCA, National Credit Adjusters, called with a message. A woman asked to call her back at 800-835-9313. I did and they promised to remove my number as it was dialed by mistake.

There is no message being left just continue to get this number showing up on my caller ID at work.

the number dials me - and then no one comes online. and they end the call. Stupid computer phones.

Got a call ON MY CELL PHONE  from a number I don't recognize... a message is left saying "Hi this is Rudy. I need you to give me a call as soon as you get in 800-542-1048". Sounds to me like a telemarketer of some kind as he leaves no other information except to call him back. Sounds to me like a SCAMMER telemarketing call... how'd they get my cell number?

Got a voicemail at work from a Jordan, requesting I give him a call at (800) 542-1048 ext 263 and must give him a reference #1096000...

This is NCA or National Credit Adjusters based in Hutchinson KS. They are one of the stupidest collection agencies in the US. They asked for someone I dont know and wanted me to call back at 866-570-6085. Fat chance! I am not wasting my time calling them back and neither should you. Write them by certified letter at 327 W 4th St, Hutchinson KS 67501 or fax them at 620-664-5947 and tell them you know they are a CA, dispute any and all alleged debts and demand they provide written proof of any such debt within 30 days. Also demand (never ask or request) they cease and desist all contact pursuant to FDCPA laws. Once they get that they cant call again or you can sue them for $1000! Dont expect to recieve anything from them in the mail because 99 percent of the time they have no proof. They will then go away to prey on less educated consumers

Collection Agency/National Credit Adjusters Keep calling but do not leave a message. Many complaints on internet about this fraudulant company and trying to collect on non exisitng debts as they do not have proper info.

Thanks for the info! this company is trying to collect on a Bally's Fitness membership 'that they purchased' from Bally's and demanded that I send them $192.63 ..... I will call them and ask them for proof of this fact... I do not intend to send them a red dime or a plug nickle!!!

Hi have you ever been with ballys. If so where at. They are tring to call me and I havnt lived at this address in like 2 years.

I continue to get a calls from this number. Its a recording that adds a recorded name in the blank that has a similar last name, but wrong first name. takes me through 3 options, press 1 if so-and-so can be reached here, press 2 if so-and-so is no longer here, press 3 if so-and-so can not be reached at this number.  I pressed 3 - and have gotten 5 calls in 2 days for the same name!  I just answer and quickly hang up now.  I am about to report them to the National Phone registry site.

Thanks. They have been calling me 5 times or more
a day. Now I plan to Fax them a Do Not Call Letter
for each phone call I get, each letter will include
the Time and date of the phone call.
So if they call me 5 times a day,
they will receive 5 fax Letters a day,
I'll waste their ink, costing them money.
Right now they are due 10 Letters according to
my caller ID, I better get busy faxing!

This place doesn't even say what company it is when you call back.

I get a call from this number everyday. I don't answer cause i don't know who it would be. They never leave a message. So i went to a pay phone and called them back and some guy answered and said Dave and thats it and then hung up the phone.

same case, i got call from this no multiple time with ref. to someone I don't know. I called back at same no 620-664-5496 and got operator;
and operator committed that I won't get call again.

This number calls my cell phone at least once a week and when you answer or let it go to voice mail there's a pause and an automated voice comes on and says "this is  a call for J.Witaker, this is not a telemarketing call, it is in reference to the letter we sent you, please call 1-800-...-....." First off, I'm not J.Witaker, second, I've not received any letter from these people and thirdly, I have good credit!  In answering one time and waiting to speak with an actual person, the person tried to tell me that I was this person and insisted that I talk with them.  I told them I was not this person and to stop calling me number. Well, that hasn't worked! They still call!

automated phone call constantly calls my work number and says this is not a telemarketing call.

I have received a number of calls from these people and did talk to one and inform it that this had been a idenity Theft problem several years ago but was told that I was more or less a liar, I will contact the attorney generals office in my state because I consider this a form of harrasement without them properly checking out the facts.

I got a call this evening asking for my wife.  I let them know that I am her husband can I help them, they went on to tell me they were trying to collect a debt from nearly 6 years ago that was paid.  I informed them that I will look into it and then get back in touch with them.  I hung up.  The guy calls me back saying he is going to garnish our wages, throw us in jail and he has our address and will start calling our references until he gets the money.  I suppose this is some type of loan my wife took out years ago that was paid off.  He continued to threaten him and I informed him of his gross violations with FDCPA and he said I need to watch my back etc.....these people are most unprofessional and they could not even provide me with the original creditors name albeit to say it was a loan.  What a joke.

They called and I just never answer.
Its nothing to me. just ignore them.
they eventually stop.

I keep getting calls on my cell phone (caller id).
If I do answer, there is no response.  If I don't
answer they hang up without leaving a message.
This is getting VERY annoying.
