This number comes across caller ID as "UNKNOWN NAME". No message left and if you call this number back the line is always busy. I've received several calls from this number, sometimes 4 a day and sometimes 1 a day for a week. Then after a while it starts over again after it had stopped for a few weeks. Net search brings up nothing. I suppose if one was bored then one could pay a fee to a service and find out who it was. But as far as I can see, it is most likely a scammer with too much time on it's hands.

This number will continue to call and ask for Vanessa.  When I say she doesn't live here they just hang up or they will try to ask if I would like to find out what it is they are calling about.  I have said over and over to take me off their call list and all they do is call again from another number.  I have asked to speak to a supervisor, and I have asked for their company name but they just hang up.  It seems there is no way to get rid of them.

Is there any way to stop these unwanted calls short of changing my phone number?
