ID themselves as Kaplin (Kaplan?) and Associates.  No idea where they are located.

Did some research.  They are this group:  History of debt scamming on 800notes.  Ignore them and block their calls.

they appear to be professional and threaten you.  They transfer you 3 times to three different agents. They have a  case number. The debt was from 12 years. they threatened if I didn't pay I was going to be taken to court. or.....or I had the option to settle over the phone. when I realized it was [***] I have hung. they are very annoying vulgar harassing and them even comical after realizing its a scam.  They next day, the day after then into the next week they began calling family members. my ex husband, children....any one with my last name who can be associated with me.
this people are [***] who should be ashamed of themselves. I have more respect for common dope dealers and 2 bit stick up artists. I am just saying....

Called twice..answered the second time...l looking for a Corey something....dine random name I've never heard of. They didn't identify themselves either...scam most likely...hung up on them.
