- John| 11 repliesI just received my 3rd or 4th call from them, and we went through the same spiel once again. After 'qualifying' me, they say they are calling with information about the 'Arizona Go Green Campaign' and they want to come to my home for an hour and meet my wife and I to see if we would be able to lower our utility (gas & electric) bills. They claim that APS will fund up to about $5000 in improvements. When I asked if there was a website I could visit for more information, she quickly said I could look on the IRS or the AZ State website. Apparently they didn't have their own website nor could I find one while doing a web search while I was on the phone with her. I asked her what kind of improvements they could do for me and she said she was just a 'qualifier' and couldn't give me any more information. Seemed kind of secretive to me. She immediately tried to schedule an in-home appointment for someone to come out and talk with me and my wife. She insisted that my wife had to be present when they visited, even though I told her that the house was in my name only. By then I had had enough and told them not to bother and asked them to remove my name from their calling list. Anyway, I hope this helps answer some of your questions If you missed their calls, I don't think you're missing much at all.

- BrianI got the same call. It came up as Kathleen Shaw as well but the caller identified herself with a different name. I asked why my ID said Kathleen Shaw. This lady claimed she was out sick and so she was using "Kathleen's" desk. I did a reverse lookup on the number after the call (6232553233) and it comes up as a mobile phone.
During the call I told her that I was seeing that they had been reported numerous times. She got off the phone rather quickly after that.
Seems like a total scam to me.- Caller: 6232553233

- Jill SI got the same call but the number is 623.687.2360 and my caller ID said it was from Wells Fargo Financial. Same as what John above reported. Even put me through to a supervisor. I made an appt but they said they would contact me the day prior to verify appt. I called the number back and it said the lines were busy, I could wait for the next person to answer. Ended up disconnecting me.

- Bob replies to John| 10 repliesActually you did miss something. You actually just blew the best opportunity that you may ever see from the Government and Utility companies to help you pay for home improvements that will permanently lower your utility bills significantly. Me and my wife had them come out to my house and we are saving more than 35% on our utility bills since and I got the biggest tax credits and rebate from APS that I have ever seen in my lifetime. You might want to call one of the go green companies and beg them to give you a second chance you idiot. For some people ignorance is bliss. Keep paying your ever increasing utility bills and I'll just laugh at you in 10 years when they double. Get your info straight before you go crying scam and screwing other fellow citizens out of there tax breaks and utility savings.
- Fed Up with these Calls! We have received numerous recorded phone calls from Arizona Go Green Campaign promising power company users a 50-80% decrease in their power bill. Seeing as how my husband is an APS employee and actually works at the power plant I was skeptical from the start. I found it very strange that there is no info for this "campaign" on the web and they claim on the recording that there is not out of pocket cost...Strange for sure! Every time we would get this recorded call I would press "5" the designated number to be removed from the list, never worked, we have been harassed by this company dozens of times. Finally today a representative called to schedule an in-home visit to lower our power bill. By now I have had enough with this company and when I told the representative that I didn't believe him and to take us off the list he was very short with me and wanted to know why. I told him that my husband was an APS employee and they were full of BS to claim that they were going to lower our power bill that much with NO out of pocket cost to the consumer. I think that these people prey on individuals who do not know how to use a calculator. I understand that there are such things as rebates from the government for putting up solar panels but if you're expecting to not pay anything out of pocket and see that drastic of a decrease on your power bill you are just wishful thinking. It just doesn't make sense and when things don't make sense they are not true.

- J LarsonSame experience with asking who they are, and who they are affiliated with. No website, no fliers, just the in-home appointment. She says they work with SRP, APS, and the Govt. to get you the rebates. I am smart enough to go to these websites and find the information for myself. I kept asking what the rebates are for, and she said "improvements", she couldn't give me a straight answer. I asked what contractors they use to do the work, she said that they don't deal with that part. When I asked where on the IRS website they are listed so I could verify that connection, she got mad, told me "I already told you we are listed on these websites, and if that's not good enough for you, then I don't know what is". Then she hung up.
Ok, I definitely know they are not valid, now. Thanks for the others who posted, so that I can verify that I'm not the only one.- Caller: Go Green Campaign
- MLBob is a scammer himself. Don't listen to him. I just got off the phone with one of them. Yup, they are trying to schedule you to scam you into something. I don't know what but I am not going to find out. Don't let them into your home. The guy tries to scare me by saying if I want my name off the list that I can not qualify again for the program. BIG DEAL! and a lot of bull!!! No government program exists now a day without a website associated with it. I have gone through Energy Audit through SRP. No one actually will give you money straight up to fix up your houses. It's all through tax rebate. So, don't believe their lies. I would not add my comment, but Bob is the kind of person who preys on people who are easily swayed. Don't let them into your home. I read on a news website that there is no such organization and this is all a scam. You can google it. Copa Times, I think, is the news outlet.

- lynnSame company, new number 480 432 2701. Bill sounds like someone who was taken advantage of, or is a shill. I doubt this company can provide anything that contacting SRP or APS directly cannot provide. You can't get anything for free, there is always going to be out of pocket costs to go green, there are only rebates available that cover some of the costs. When I asked the name of the company, she said it was the "go green campaign" and when I said I wasn't letting someone in my house without checking out the company, she abruptly hung up. Yah, sounds real legit. Incidentally, each of these report sites, has one person who defends the company. And, they say basically the same thing... you decide!

- sebastienThey are a scam. Call us repeatedly. The two times I've answered they want to
GIVE us $5,000 in free state and federal money. I am not stupid. Nothing is free.
I have solar, have invested in many, many energy improvements in my house and according to SRP have one of the lowest energy uses for a house my size.
Hang up on these people or better yet don't answer the phone. The number they are using now is 480-432-2701.- Caller: Go Green

- JeffI just received a similar call from 480-262-5148. The name came up as David Heinen and I answered his questions and "qualified" for $5,100.00 in energy rebates. They told me I was one of the few that actually qualified...imagine that. We set an appointment time and he needed to pass me to his supervisor. I kept asking who would be coming to the house and he kept responding an "energy expert". After being passed to his supervisor, I politely asked him for more information at which he became flustered and could only retort "don't you want to save on your electricl bill?", then hung up after clearly not being able to back up his line of reasoning. Thanks for the posts. I feel better that I'm not alone in this.

- CrystalSame thing here but with phone number 623-777-9083. I've been nice, I've been mean but they still keep calling. Finally, I played along and told "Michael" I would have to speak to my husband regarding a scheduling time. He said he would call back, and I did some research. The phone is unknown and whenever you call it goes to voicemail and states to leave a message if you want to know more about going green. Surprisingly the guy called back..... Like 6 times within an hour time frame. I've been ignoring the calls but can't figure out what the scam is? Are they wanting to scope out the inside of the house to see what valuables could be taken or what? Is this something that could be too good to be true? I don't like it and don't need the stress, I just wish they would stop calling!!

- Lynn| 1 replyApparently these guys are now in California. We don't have caller ID on our home phone (I know, not smart) but after countless hang-ups when I would answer the call, someone finally came on and gave me the "Go Green" pitch. I told him to stop calling, that he was soliciting and we're on the "no call" list. The guy got really belligerent -- "It's not a solicitation -- you just lost $5000 in rebates". I said "you're not listening to me," and he replied, shouting "YOU'RE NOT LISTENING TO ME -- Is that why your husband ignores you because you don't listen?" Wow! My husband came on the phone and the guy hung up. Talk about rude. Why would anyone do business with these creeps? Wish there was some way to get rid of them.
