The call came in this morning about 9:00 - the answering machine turned on, there was a brief period of breathing then the caller hung up.

Whatever happened to solicitors being prohibited from calling cell phones?  Caller said I was eligible for million dollar sweepstakes.  Yeah, right.

Since when can a law stop criminal activity?  If laws actually prevented crime there would be no jails or need for criminal courts.  Since this caller was trying to scam you, why would they care about a law that prohibits telemarketers from calling cellphones?

One call after another is getting  very annoying.  I called the number and was told that they had no record of my phone and hung up.  I'm sorry that the phone number services charge so much to give out the information on who is calling my number.  I sure wish that DEX or Somebody in the phone book business would set up this service.

Caller said they had seen that i registered on some publishers website (which i did not) and then said i was entered into a drawing for a prize. Sounded 'ike a real person at first, but towards the end of the call, you could tell it was a recording.really some telemarketer trying tosolicit magazines

Same thing here they call about my registering on some web site and I have asked them to stop calling but they still do.

They call all day.

I cussed the [***] out and she hung up on me... thats fine. I cant do this at work so I'll continue taking it out on them. Bring it...!!!!

So I'm guessing u run these types of scams. They are very annoying and there are many elderly or gullible people out there that fall for these scams. Its very sad that people are out there making money this way. And its even worse that it is untraceable. I hope karma gets you good

I keep getting calls from a supposed publishers clearing house. I tell them to take me off their list but it doesn't matter they call from a different number every time. I've gotten 5 calls from 5 different #'s today alone. I have Verizon . What does everyone else have

And you clearly fail at logical thinking and the ability to draw an inference.  You also seem to have an overly optimistic idea of what the Do Not Call list and the Federal government can do preemptively to prevent scammers from calling.  They can only act after the fact and then only if they have the ability to track down and prosecute the culprits. Good luck with those originating from foreign countries.  Again, what law ever written has ever stopped a criminal from acting like a criminal?

I have received a call twice this morning within an hour from this number.   I have stopped answering any calls when I do not recognize the number.  

I received a call this morning from 623-518-1114 indicating I had was on a list to win a prize.  They said they were Publishers Service asked a few question,  asked about my age, when I told them they said they could not help me!  Go figure I did not request anyone to call me.

623-518-1114 says something to the fact of a sweepstakes and they want your credit card number.

These scammers called today.  I don't answer on phone numbers that I don't recognize.  These jerks did not leave a message.  

You know, this is really terrible that you can't find out the EXACT Company or Person, that keeps calling you is!  I mean if I paid everytime I received one of these unknown calls, I'd be broke before the end of the week.  My BIG issue is, I'm a registered stalking victim, and I NEED to know this callers info.  It's so unfair to have to pay to get this information, especially, from the Whitepages, or yellowpages!

Stop calling me scam..

They 3 times a day, I answered it today and "Ashley" from Publisher Service said I entered an online survey to win a sweepstakes and am now in the drawing for 1 million dollars.  I told her I never entered anything.  She then stated Someone in my household entered the drawing.  I stated that was not possible.  She then stated they were with Top service marketing and someone filled out an online survey.  I told her to remove my number and anyone in my "household" from her list and sweepstakes and don't call us anymore.  I'm not expecting much.
