When asked the name of the company, the woman said it was "Versitile Syste".

We received a phone call saying there was to be a drawing in April for free groceries.  We were given a code# and told to keep it, we would be called again.  Today, another person called & since we had the #, we were told we had already won one of four prizes.  I wasn't sure, so they gave me the above number so I could call back.

Is this a legitimate company?  I can't find information about the company.

May be a legitimate company if you like hooks for vacuum cleaner sales! My mom's husband got suckered into a 'no obligation' demonstration. The problem was that they arrived before my mom and her husband (76 & 66) could eat lunch, and wouldn't leave until they had signed a contract and signed up for monthly payments at 27% interest and a WAY OVERPRICED UNNEEDED VACCUUM.

....thats where I would be telling them they can leave now or I'd be calling the cops. When you ask a person to leave your property, they are no longer welcome and should leave, NOW.. even if they were invited in the first place.

Two guys from this same company came to my house and try to sell that kirby vaccuum to me. I just tell them to leave right away. They seems kinda upset when they left. Will this cause me any trouble later? (They have my address, that's what I am worry about)

Received a call from "Andy of Versatile Systems". She was hyperactively over-friendly, trying to pump me for information, and when I asked her several times to state her purpose in calling she acted huffy and hung up on me. Through caller ID and google, I tracked down this business: Versatile Kirby Systems" at 4480 W. Peoria Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85302-2038 phone number (623) 533-6536. I called and asked for the manager, and the same woman came on the line now calling herself "Andrea" instead of "Andy." I chewed her out for her rudeness, told her never to call me again or she'd be hearing from the police,  and told her I would be calling Kirby HQ to complain about her.

There was a recent news report about another Phoenix based Kirby sales company, Eagle Systems or something like that, running scams on senior citizens.

These guys are unethical at best, and they are sure going to ruin the reputation of a venerable old company. Kirby's should stick to selling their product through established and known retail outlets.

Just received second call from them. Name of lady calling was Summer S. Phone number 623-533-6536. After a long discussion, it become clear they were there to sell a cleaning system of some kind. Exactly what I will never know since I've turned them down.
