This is a call from Discover Cards Services. We seem to forget to send the payment on time. So, those who are wondering, check to see if you paid your bill.

We do not owe anything--this number harrasses me at our business sometimes every hour on the hour.  I'm sick of it.  I ask what it's in regards to and they just say they want to talk to my husband.  They are RUDE and they could leave a message with me but they won't.  The have the nerve to ask me for my husband's cell number--that's crazy if they think I would give that out.  I am going to turn them over to the authorities.  My husband is never in the office so they will never reach him.

I never answered numbers i don't know. But this number called first my office number and then my cellphone. It did not leave any message. I don't think this is from Discover Card Services. I don't have any payment due this month.

This call is from Discover. I received this voicemail message constantly telling me to call this random number. Only after reasearching it on this site, I realized it was from Discover card services. I called and found out I still had a balance over 2 months old on some overlapping finance charges for a card I closed 3 months ago!  They had never sent me a new bill, just a statement stating my account was closed. I was very upset, so luckily they waived the charges and revised my history so it does not show late payments on my history.

nice, but I don't HAVE a Discover card.  Sounds like a scam to me...

It's Discover Card collections. Their system is bizarre - when you pick up, you hear a message that repeatedly says "please hold for an important message." They make you wait on hold until they get around to putting someone on the phone. If it goes to voice mail, you will hear a confused representative saying "Hello? Hello?"

Do yourself a favor and use your call block feature, if you have it, to block this number. It's *60.

You can also tell them not to call you any more, and under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, they have to comply.

This APPEARS to be legit. Without me providing/confirming ANY other info other than my tele #, they were able to pull up my Discover Card payment info with correct dates and amts of pmts & balance. They were not rude to me, as reported by other posts.

It is Discover Card.  I don't have a discover card, but my ex wife does and owes them alot of money, so they keep calling me and ask for my ex wife who I divorced 3 years ago. I've told them a hundred times that she doesn't live here anymore and then they want her cell phone number, which I've already given to them. I tell them to quit calling me and they tell me that they will , but they keep on. How would you like to be harassed by your ex's credit card holder, because they aren't paying their bills?  I'm getting my home phone disconnected this week! Let's see how they like that!

This number has been calling my cell phone looking for my old roommate who also happens to be an ex-discover employee for the last few days. I currently work for discover and it makes me very angry to find out their collection dept is calling my phone about this matter. I told them this number is my cell and not my roommates and asked that they not call me again looking for her.
If I had known that it was discover calling at the time, I would have told them to look up my acount with them, that is in good standing,and they would see they would see this is my phone #!!! They wouldn't even tell me what company they were calling form. We will see if they call again, if they do, their going to get an ear full!!!!

I have been receiving phone calls from this phone number for over a month. The call registers as an Arizona call on my cell phone. When I've answered the call, I've asked them what company they are representing. Every person has told me Unified Services. They claim that my phone number has been randomly selected from their database. They go on to say that I've won a $1000 online shopping spree and free accommadations for 3 days and 2 nights to whatever destination I choose. I asked them what database my phone number was in that I would even be eligible for this kind of prize. No one has every specified. Every person I have spoken to has had an Indian accent, so I began to wonder. I called the phone number back and a woman from the Discover Card Collections department answered my call. I explained to her what happened. She asked me what phone number was being called. When she looked up my number, she said there was no information linked w/ my number. They call me 3-6 times a day. They've called me at 7:30AM! I called Discover and spoke w/ a CSR and she had no idea what I was talking about. She said she would forward my complaint to her supervisor. I've never had a problem with Discover in the past. What is going on?! The name of the company CALLING me is Unified Services. The name of the company that answers when I CALL is Discover. They call REPEATEDLY throughout the day and leave no message. and from my research, this is considered HARASSMENT! Once/day is sufficient. looking for legal recourse.

This number called me today 2 times so far. Left no message.  If it is Discover, I have only had the card since October and have made every payment on time.  The Discover website shows it.  My next payment isn't even due until January.  This is so dumb thet they would even call me.  If the calling keeps up, Discover will lose another customer.

They called me at work so I called this # back it is from discover and I dont have a discover card.

Received call from 623-643-2996 on Christmas Eve.  Calling for my son about Discover Card.

Gotten calls from this number about 3 or 4 times a day! I have explained that I am not the person that they are looking for but somebody else much older than I but with same name. I have also told them to take it to court. Its a different SS# so it should not affect me at all.
They stopped calling until another company buys the debt.
Very rude!

Have repeatedly gotten a phone call from this number. Always get a hang up and no answer when I answer the phone. Wish I could do something about it. Very annoying especially since I live with my mother who is very ill and could pass away any day.
