They called, I answered and there was nobody there. Came up as Unknown but showed the number.

I tried calling the number back and it told me that the number dialed was not allowed from this line.

Got a call from this number 625-738-2498 an Indian guy with a horrible accent said something about Windows Web services.  I've been called many times and every time say I'm not interest and tell them to take my name off their list and I hung up.  The jerk calls back and start lecturing me about hanging up and I said look I'm not interested and don't want to be called.  He goes on and on so I hung up again.  I tried to call the number back to find out what the hell company it was and to tell them I was reporting them, but it says the number is not available.

Received a missed call. Tries calling back but number does not accept incoming calls.

Found a message on my voicemail service from 625-738-2498.  Background sounds consistent with a call center.  Distant voice said hello and, when there was no answer, hung up.  didn't try to call back.  Whatever they want, I'm not interested.  

Selling pharma, specifically ED meds and other. Report this illegal operation to the FBI.

I received a phone call today at 12:33pm from a woman with an Indian accent 16257382498. She wanted me to know that my computer is infected and she wanted to talk me through the steps to protect it. I told her I do not have a computer, and asked if she wanted to talk to my boss. She then hung up on me.

Friday, Feb. 13th - they want to get into your computer, probably to hack stuff.

I received a call from 625 738 2498 with the same as above - Indian lady talking about my computer being corrupted without my knowledge, bla bla bla.  When I informed her that also worked in IT and under cyber security and had redundant firewalls and was in fact back tracing her call into her computer, she freaked out and hung up.  Let's hope that gets them to remove my number :)

Got a call from this number. Very thick accent. Said from tech support and calling about my computer problem. I said I had no problem and then he asked to speak to owner of computer. I hung up. Too bad I did not have a rotary phone so I could have slammed the phone down. Time to keep a shrill whistle next to phone.

Received phone call today, February 13th, 2015 at approx. 1:40pm EST from 625-738-2498 from Unknown caller. I didn't answer and no message was left. I went to put this phone number on my Blocked list via our cable/phone company and it won't accept the number! Interesting. Never had that happen before. Says it's "an incorrect number."

I got the same telephone call from a fellow with a horrible Indian accent.  Perhaps 10% was intelligible.  He kept saying that the computer was infected and he represented Windows.  He kept giving me instuctions to perform certain functions on my computer pertaining to security, obviously to hack into the computer.  He kept stating that he was my "friend."  Friends like him I don't need.  He finally hung up when I told him I would not perform the functions. Stay away from these people.  They were calling on my cell phone, itself against the law for a telemarketer.  They should be reported to the FCC or other governmental organization.

Indian wanting to talk about my computer? I told him i worked for the FBI and needed him to stay on line for at least 90 seconds. Obviously the crooked shooter hung up! GOD BLESS AMERICA.

I forgot to mention that there is no 625 area code in the US or Canada.

I received a call today from this number. Even though I didn't recognize the number I answered it and said Hello. I could hear noise in the background like a call center, after several seconds someone with a foreign accent finally said Hello, I'm calling about your computer. I said I don't have a computer and you are calling a Police department phone. He got very quiet then started to say something again and I said I don't want to listen to what you have to say and you need to put me on your do not call list.

    Called at 7:30 am......Let the phone ring 8 times, hung up when answering machine came on.

CRIMINAL HARASSMENT BY TELEMARKETER...........

I am registered on the ...."Do Not Call List"

Got the call yesterday at 5:06pm.
I answered the phone to an Indian man who told me he was from Tech Support America calling about my Windows computer. He said unwanted harmful things have placed itself in my computer and he was going to show me how to find out if it was there. He directed me to go to my computer - turn it on - and go to a website that i believe was www.techsupportdata.com or something of that nature. He asked me if I was doing as he directed and I told him No. I asked who he was and why is he calling me about my computer. I asked him if it was a solicitation call or what exactly was the reason. I told him if he wanted to give me the steps to check, that in my own spare time i can check it out after i research his company and find out what they are about. He got really mad at me. Demanding that I do it. Again, I refused and asked him for his company name - which he responded " I told you mam, Tech Support America." I asked for his name.. to which he stammered "Alvin Morris" (obviously a fake name) and i asked him for his phone number... oh boy.. thats when the argument began. He was refusing to give me the number giving me every reason in the book as to why and telling me to go to the website. I told  him there is obviously a reason he did not want me to have the number and that I was not going to some website at a strangers request and give him access to my computer. After another 5 minutes of debating - he gave me a number to tech support america and said "your not registered so they won't be able to help you." I told him I would call that number if i needed the services and he yelled and hung up. To sum things up.. it was a HUGE scam. I googled tech support america (they are a real company) but following that was another column like this where a read that someone actually listened to the person and did what they said and after going to the website the man on the phone said "I am hacking your computer and taking everything, I am smarter than you" and hung up the phone. I am so glad I asked a few more questions or I would have fallen in the same suit.

Calls every 7-10 days about my computer problems. I have told them I no longer have a computer and to please remove my name from their list; however, they continue to want to talk about computer issues. They do not give me name of company but say they are from my computer center's office.
