don't press 1... it just gives info about their ringtone service. and then they send you a multimedia text saying thanks.

cant believe i got out of the shower just to deal with that.

Hate cosmo. Sounds like a ringtone scam style call. I called back from a corperate routed phone so no way to link back to my phone. But Beware of these scammy suckers.

Just got a call from this number.  Phone rang for a fraction of a second then they hung up, so I got a missed call.  This seems to be their M.O. -- get themselves listed as a "missed call" on your phone so that you call them back and get their menu.  Fortunately I read this site before calling the number back.

I too just got a missed call from this number.  And like Jay, it only rang for half a ring and they hung up.  So glad I'm smart enough to know that this kind of crap is going on WAY too much these days and checked the number out before I called it back.  Next time I get a call from anyone I don't recognize I'll just not answer it!

I'm amused at how many complaints are here within the last few minutes. They must be busy today.

Curious, as I'm particular of where I give out my cell #, was wondering if anyone else getting these calls today donated to Haiti with their phone in the past few days?

Greg - great question. I made a text donation to Haiti a few days ago and just got the same half ring missed call from this number. That's too bad - I thought texting was a pretty neat way to quickly collect donations. I hope this doesn't discourage people from helping out.

I just got half a ring from this phone number. I am now used to not answering my phone when I see a number I don't know (although some friends calling from office numbers I don't know have complained :-/ ).
