I just recieved a call from these folks.. Left a a message regarding lowering interest rate.. but never said on what..
Wonder whom this is..

Received a call about lowering interest rates.  Probably should report to the Feds.

Received a call on my cell from this number this afternoon.  Caller ID said City of Hope, Monrovia, CA.  No message left.

Play along with these people long enough to get some information as to who they are then post the name. You can usually find out the name of the business principle or the registered agent (attorney) for the company with a google search.  Posting the name and phone number of either goes a long way to stopping the harassment.  it is amazing how fast they stop.

Got a call from (626) 256-8683 and asked Google.com to identify the caller.  Information found stated that the number belongs to ARS National Services which is a debt collection agency headquartered in Escondido, California, with offices in Jacksonville, Florida; and Phoenix, Arizona.

I just got a call from them too...when I asked them what credit card they were referring to they said "visa".  I said Which Visa? Then they hung up.  Definitely a scam

I keep getting calls from this number with a recording saying "This is Rachel from account services" etc etc... If I press 0 it gives me a person but if I tell them I'm on the "do not call" list and I want them to stop calling, they hang up. Then keep calling. They won't even tell me the company name when I ask. Seems like a scam.

Received a call from 626-256-8683 -- Didn't recognize the # so didn't answer it.   Only family & close friends have my phone #.

You can't reason with these people, so you might as well play along.  I am on the train on the way home with nothing better to do, so I tell them I am paying 28% interest with $35,000 debt.  I make $250 a week and I want them to lend me money.  My name:  Addam Shayem.  Yes, it's Addam Shayme, I isn't it?  I can't stop them, but I can waste their time.  

Of course, my favorite is the Health Alert:  "can they listen to what is going on in my house?  People try to spy on me, but I don't let them.  I have an electromagnetic shield I wear when I go out."

Just got a call on my cell from 626-256-8683. Only family has my #. Answered it,open line,no voice on the other end. Wonder how they got my #

If this is for lowering credit card interest --- it is a scam. I do not have a credit card since filing bankruptcy.

Just received a call from this number.  I did not answer and they did not leave a message.

doesn't matter how many times a day I block these callers, they call allllllll the time annoying. The Microsoft one from the foreigners across the ways, that was a fun one to mess with. I kept them on the phone for hours.... sometimes just talking about their day. its just ridiculous and you figure with the technology out there that maybe, just maybe, there would be a way to stop this!

Just started getting this call today on my cell.  I get very angry about this as my time is valuable and wasting minutes on my cell is WRONG.  It is ridiculous the calls that are coming through on all of my phones despite the NO CALL list.

I answered this call at 8:20 this morning ... silence.

Smart lady you are... Same with me. If a number isn't in my phone I don't answer. Only important friends and family are listed. Blocked the number in my phone..Case solved..:)

received the call; did not answer because I do not answer calls from people I don't know.  lady left a message stating she was not responsible for spoofing my account.  Have alerted proper officials; would recommend everyone  do the same.
