Did not leave a message. After this number called, almost immediately following a hidden number called with the recorded scam message "to lower your credit...".

4/26 at 2:35 "Out of area" They called data-only line, so SPAM

Call received from a man that sounded like he was sitting somewhere with really loud hip hop playing in the background in Spanish. Offered some air conditioning deal. Hung up right when I said I'm not interested, and before I could ask how he was able to call my cellphone. Likely to be cold-calling from a list.

These people are scammers pretending to be licensed contractors.  They are cold calling people on the do-not-call list.  The stupidity of these people is amazing.  They knew my address (from public phone records) so they should've known I was in an area too cold to need air conditioning.  Why they are offering to fix AC units in my area, I have no idea!

Even though they repeatedly stated they are "licensed, bonded and insured", they would not provide a contractor's license number and the "technician" on the phone didn't know what an H.I.S. number was and would not provide one.  She gave a website which looked fake and did not have a contractor's license number on it as required by law.  The California State License Board database did not have a listing for the business she was claiming to represent.

These people really suck at this scam.

Well the caller waits for the answering machine to finish it's message and following the beep they hang up. That's how I know it is a person. I guess its another home or energy upgrade call.
