after seeing them online we wanted to speak to a sales rep. this is the phone number they called back from. seemed very helpfull, but rushed.

its actually the customer service department Tom. Just FYI whenever i call there is a long wait time but if you press 9 and leave a message they call you back within the hour.

CALL THIS NUMBER IF YOU DO NOT GET YOUR GIFT! They tried to send me my order without the gift, that or they dock guys stole it. Either way just call and tell them, I thought they wouldnt care but they overnighted me not one but two more.

After I made an order for 2" tape they sent me a pallet of 3". It was obviously not ours it even had another company name on the packing slip. I called my rep to cancel but then she offers me a great discount and a free gift along with shipping my correct pallet overnight free of charge, and I know that’s not cheap. I must say I’m impressed.

Just got the promotion today, it's the exact same tape my other vendors supply but this comes with a free gift... hahaha suckers...

Tried to tell us they where are tape vendor and they are not!!!!  Very un-trust worthy as this is not the first time this has happened.  They also must not have a code of ethics if they are giving away "free" gifts.

Received a call from their customer service offering to send us complimentary tape and a gift, asked if I was the shipping manager and I replied no.  They said thats ok we will send you this gift free because of your business with us and it will come with 3 boxes of free tape.  Received and invoice later for the tape.  not trustworthy company at all.

Caller sent us some tape and an invoice. Called them to tell them there was a mistake. She said someone there approved it. I ask her if she gave Net 30 terms to everyone that called with no credit app? Sent tape back, per her instructions to the address on the box, not the packing slip or invoice. Her name was Sarah. Address from invoice is 14542 Ventura Blvd #202, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403.

We received a box of tape and an invoice as well.  I think this has happened about 10 times over the years.  Most of the time they just hang up when I have been able to intercept one of their people calling in.  This time we received a Starbucks gift card.   I'm going to keep it and ask them to send me another one to cover the shipping costs of sending back their junky tape.

Talked to a customer service rep. about sending back tape we didn't order.  We shipped it back and they refused delivery. Of course they are sending us past due invoices now for a product we not only did not order but tried to return in good faith. I have called them half dozen times, keeping ddetailed records of call dates and times.  We have only been getting voice mail and leaving multiple detailed messages. No one has returned my calls, our company will be turning it over to the Iowa Attorney Generals office.  What a scam!!!

Empire Industries called MCM and spoke to an unauthorized personnel
and sent a box of tape for $499.14. Called and told them we only pay by

Not sure if it was the same number, but this guy calls me saying everything everyones said that there doing a promotion and that there going to send me a free gift card as well as a box of free "sample" tape.
When the box arrives its full of this cheap tape, no gift card, and an invoice for a ridiculous amount for the free tape...
These people are ridiculous, they called me back today saying they were going to send me a new catalog, but first he asks if im still using the 2" clear tape..
I respond telling him I returned there tape and before I could get another word in.. He hung up, what a horrible company.

They called one of our staff members several times and convenced him he was getting a free gift.  They sent us tape that we do not use and when I called the number to let them know we are going to return it, it went right into a voice box.  All orders are by purchase order numbers only and he is not authorized buyer to purchase anything.  This is a Scam....

The same just happened with our company. We received a package of tape that we never ordered and then received an invoice for like $50o, and when we called about it, they told us that they would not take it back and that we must pay the invoice. What kind of company operates like this? Scandalous.

This company is such a scam.  All of the below about calling and free gifts has happened and now they are saying they have a recorded phone call but will have to call back with it so I can here that we asked for this junk.  Of course no one is calling back.  They gave me an address to ship back but refused to give me carrier information.  UGH!  And of course you could here someone in the background coaching Cheryl what to say the whole time.  This is ridiculous.

They just called and asked for shipping and receiving. Number shows up as Private, so I knew something was up. When I asked who was calling they said Empire Industries, when I asked what that was they hung up. Since I know that our shipping/receiving doesn't need to take calls from anyone I knew it was a scam.

It is a scam.  Beware!  We have received tape from two different companies that are pulling the same scam.
