Jake called with all my info and said he had a loan of 5.00 for me.  All I had to do was buy a greendot money pak for 248.00 and give him the number.  That would show my good faith in repayment.  Said he was from American Financial Services and gave me their website.  Phone numbers don't match and the Company deals in mortgages only.  I looked up scams and this is a big one!!!  Called him back and let him know what I thought.  Also contacted American Financial Services to let them know what was going on

I got the same phone call and knew right away this was a big ole mess. Once you give them that green dot number the money is gone and you have nothing in return.  I messed up and applied for ONE and only ONE payday loan on-line and ended up getting 10 phone calls JUST like this one from different numbers all over the USA, each with think Indian accents with very American names each telling me I could get 5,000 to 10,000 dollars and all I had to do was go get a green dot money card and put $248  on it at CVS or Walgreens and call and give them the number. A few even threatened to blacklist me from even getting a loan again if I didn't borrow from them. NEVER apply for payday loan.  NEVER on-line ANYWAY..bad choice!

I have received at leat 10 phone calls today. 7 of which have been from this number. I am so sick of my phone ringing I want to unplug it.  I keep hanging up on this person, but they keep calling back.

The best thing to do to one of these Patel jerkwads is to write down the next greendot number you see. Give them a combo of those numbers every time you talk to one of them. That way, they'll think they're getting ready to SCORE.....and all they'll get is diddly-squat! People like these a$$bags is why 99% of normal people in this country think badly of them!

the same thing happened to me. This guy steve called me back and spoke with me first and went on and on about this loan offering me $5,000. Then he told me that i need to pay my first months bill which was $125.00 and that money would be refunded back to me add to the loan money which amounted to $5,125.00. So i paid it on one of the green dot cards ( which the lady at the cvs warned me not to do but i didn't listen and did it anyways).Then when i got curios and start asking questions he transferred me to a manager Archie who then transferred me to his manager Jake Tyler who then informed me that Archie failed to tell me that the IRS makes you pay taxes on a $5,000.00 loan and that i would have to pay $130.00 out of $260.00 and they would pay the other half which i stupidly paid. And waited the next day only for them to tell me i had to pay the other half because the IRS had a hold on it and wouldn't except any money from them (lie) so i paid it and they said that the money would be in my account with a refund of all the money i paid plus extra which amounted to $5,750.00 and to wait a hour he would call back. I waited a hour in a half and called back only to hear that i have to pay another $150.00 to refund them half their $300.00 they decided to give me. My question is if you were going to give me $300.00 only for me to refund you $150.00 why not just give me $150.00. but i finally said no why do i have to pay you all this money only to show you i can afford my bills and you don't give me anything to show me you have the money to pay me [***] YOU.

So people please take if from me if you need  money a loan company is there to help us not ask for money so please learn from my [***] mistake and hang up or tell them your not interested

Don't forget to add Sam Walter at (627) 467-3807 to that that list of names: People, if it sounds too good to be true, "IT IS!" I knew immediately it was a scam as the (male voice, Indian accent) congratulated me for  being chosen to receive a government grant. Who calls you, for being randomly picked to receive a government grant? "COME ON!", Does the American Government really work that way? Then,I am ask to pay something back,but first I have to have a Walmart or Walgreen's near by DUH! Do they look in your house and to see if "FOOL", is written on your forehead (insult to intelligence). Thanks for today's challenge, Lord you helped pass that test, LOL!!!!!
