Got four phone calls saying it was a federal matter. Foreign accent on the message

Also got a phone call saying it was a federal matter; again a foreign accent with the name "Steve Martin."  Forwarding the number/message to the local DA.

I got the same message saying it was regarding a "federal criminal offense" and failure to return the call would be "an intentional second attempt to award an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury" but when I called back, he said he was with the U.S. Treasury dept and he couldn't send me anything in writing. Foreign accent on message.

Ahaaa!   He was multi-tasking!   Those jokers are calling from the same phones as IRS,  Microsoft,  and debt collectors.   One would think that their activities have been around long enough and publicized so much that their scam tricks would be ineffective by now.  But I guess they still have enough success to make stealing,  lying,   and extortion a profitable business.

This joker called 6 times on Saturday left the same message.

Same voice and accent called months before for IRS litigation, This tiem is federal criminal offense. So annoying!

Foreign accent warning of intentional 2nd offence.
