Harrassing calls to an employee from this number

what were they calling about? i just got a phone call at work from them this morning but i wasn't there.

It is a scam and I called Better Business Bureau and the authorities..

Individual received a call from this number claiming to a police officer by the name of John Smith, unknown police agency. The caller stating he had the receiver's social security number on a case file and directed the receiver to call him back. Possibly attempted identify theft scam.

I juts got a call as well from this number.  Name of the gentleman with an Indian-sounding dilect was John Smith and he gave the same script as above.  Definitely a SCAM.  He did not sound American at all.  Beware!

This number calls my work number about 10 times a day.  Claim to be Officer Daniel Jones with a very heavy accent.  I asked him what this was about and he said that I have a debt of $484.00 that I did not pay.  So I asked what company and he said USACashNet.  He said the only way to clear it is that I have to go to Walmart and purchase a prepaid card and don't activate it...they will do it.  What company will tell their customers to clear the debt with a Walmart Prepaid Card.  I told them to stop calling my work number.  They also threaten to have me arrested and that I might stay in jail for a minimum of 3 months.  Yes, beware!

I talked to an Inv. John Smith and also Donny Walker (both with accents representing Anderson Legal Bureau) from this number claiming that I took a payday loan of a few hundred bucks last fall and that I was being brought up on criminal charges. They also said that if he did not talk to my lawyer within 30 minutes that they would block my SSN and I would not be able to receive any type of credit for the rest of my life. They not only new my name but also my bank name, bank account and SSN. So I had to change accounts and alert the credit bureau's. Be careful. We are talking to someone now about this.

THIS IS A SCAM. Scammers are using bought/hacked loan application data to extort payments for fictitious debts from victims and victims' families and friends.

I keep receiving calls from a Daniel Walker also said his name was Officer Koden Thomas stating that I got a loan from US Government loans, he has an heavy accent and said that he was sending the authorities to my job to pick me up. He had all of my information and stated that we would handle this matter in court when asked what matter he said he didn't have time and that the authorities will be contacting me please be aware of this I have notified my bank and having to change all my information

I just got the same call and said there a police officer I was googling to get a loan and now he keeps calling here and harassing me...it's definitely a scam...

Please have them stop calling me here at work PH #818 666-9192. There saying there police officers and harassing me here at work.

These people call me every five minutes at work, saying the same things posted above. This is ridiculous! Why aren't these people arrested for harassment? I will lose my job if they don't stop calling me!
