I got a phone call from this number and they said  there name was Daniel White and they worked for American LEgal Services. He told me they had court docs for me and they were suspending my social security number and would write my whole family and tell work that I owe 700.00 to a pay day loan and refuse to pay unless I would pay it tight now on a pre paid visa card. And if I will not pay the 700.00 it will cost me about 30,000.00 and will loose my job and my credit will be destroyed. I asked for a copy of the court papers and they could not fax them or send them to me.
I have recvd 10 calls like this and it is getting to be a least one a week....

The same thing happened to me, but they are telling me that their is fraud on my side, which is not true.  Is there anything you are doing about this because a mark taylor left me a message and when I called number back, he said his name was Steve Clark and would not send any information by mail, email or fax as well.  They have also contacted my family and really scared my mother and siser.

This jerk just tried to pull the same crap on my family. He called my husband at work and said the same stuff Maria said. Ive already called my lawyer. They will not get a penny from my family! A plaintiff has the burden of proof to PROVE that they gave money to someone. When no money was ever given, there is no proof. No court would award retribution without proof.

Hi, I just received a call also by a person by the name of Steve Clark. He said the same thing to me. He really has me worried and I need to know from anyone, is this a scam?

Someone from the number 6267682536 called my family and left a message.  My mom was scared and emailed me.  I called right away.  They say they are American Legal Services and are informing me of a case against me that I had federal violations against me.  These people had all of my information, work, home, references, routing number, information given when I took out the loan.  I informed the man that I am currently going throuh debt consolidation.  The man became agitated and said to either get a lawyer, and he started throwing numbers my way, or to solve the problem with him over the phone.  He said he could contact my lenders to find out how much they would be willing to settle with.  The man gave me the option of lawyer or settling out of court (paying him money now) by contacting the lendors.  When I informed him I would contact the lendors personally he stated "NO you can not do that,  If you do that it will go directly to court.  You deal with us now."  I then informed  him I would contact my lawyer and call him back on Monday.  I contacted my lendors, THIS IS A SCAM!!  They reported they are not taking legal action against me.  For those of you who used cashcentralusa, there is a number you can call to report if you are contacted by these people.  That number is 8662543581.  The loan companies don't know how these people are getting our information and are trying to find out.

After recieving another phone call from these jokers, I filed a complaint with the BBB for American Legal Services.  The address I used was 2214 Mira Vista, Montrose, CA 91020  phone number 626 768 2536.  This address and phone number were not in the BBB database, so I added it.   I encourage you all file a complaint.  There more there are of us, the more they will have to listen.

First of all, let  me give you my background.  I have 20 yrs of 1ST PARTY COLLECTIONS,now retired,& are familiar
with the collection laws.  The person calling from 626-768-2536 and the person I was transferred to broke every rule in the book.  They released personal information regarding the person they was trying to reach and threathen me by saying they are with the United States task force and if I do not comply, I will be subject to legal action.  That I should contact L Dunn today.  When I meantion, I was calling MY ATTORNEY, He immediately hung up the phone.

Collection activity such as this is not acceptable and something needs to be done about it.

These people called me too. I filed a complaint with the FTC. ALL of you should. If you don't they will never do anything about it. If enough people complain, they will build a case against them. If it is just me, they will ignore it. What they are doing is illegal. Also look for your consumer protection in your state and file a complaint. I decided to call them back and see if they would give me their mailing address. I got someone with a Australian accent now. ODD. He wouldn't give it to me.

I work for a software development company. Who ever is running this scam is leaving our main number which is similar w/ just two of the numbers reversed.  I can't tell you how many people have called us in the past few weeks.  Some are scared.  Some are down right pissed.  My advice is to call the FBI. Hopefully the people behind this scam will be caught and prosecuted. Who knows how many people have sent them money to “make them go away”.

THANK GOD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WITH THIS PROBLEM!!! These [***] just keep calling. I don't have a clue on how they got all my personal information, but they got it.This dude called me stating that he was Paul Smith. Funny thing is that's an American name and he sounds NOTHING like an American born citizen. He stated that I owed my lender money, but he couldn't tell me the name of the lender. He went on to say that I could settle out of court for $1,257.99 or he was going to take me to court over the money that I owed and it would cost me $30,000.They stated that I had to send them the money and fax them an apology letter. I owe some people some money so not thinking I started paying them money. All in total, $500 was paid to them. Funny thing is I got a REAL call from the REAL lender that I borrowed money from and the amount was nowhere the amount of $1,257.99. I went on to do a credit check on myself, and then went to the internet to research all the companies that I owed money to and found out everyone was legit except American Legal Services. I couldn't even find them online. the way I found you all was typing in their phone number and here we are. These idiots kept leaving messages with my social security number and so called case number. Im waiting on a call from them so I can get their information so I can contact my lawyer...Whoever set this up THANK YOU!!! YOU ARE A LIFESAVER...

I rec'd a phone call from Steve Clark American Credit Legal Services.  I am up to date on and all payday loans he is  saying that I owe pay day loans.  The phone number does not show on caller ID.  He told me to call back at 916-226-4115. How do you stop these people.

I called one of my lenders and when I told him what was going on, he said did he have an Indian accent. I said yes. he gave me the number to Homeland Security. I called and the gentleman said it's a scam and don't send them any money. These are morons from India and they don't have jurisdiction here.
