A man said he wanted to see if I was interested in buying "warm radiant flooring"...

I was charged for $26 (for only 1 minute) for receiving a call from this number.  I also got the same charge from another number 905-635-1591.  I called my phone company but I haven't got a response yet.

I just got a call from this number at 12:21 PM, and the man on the other end was extremely hard to understand as English is obviously his second language. I did hear him say, "I talked to you online, and you told me to call you." WHATEVER!! I told him if I had contacted him online, then he could email me. Before hanging up on him, I asked him to place me on his DO NOT CALL list, but I don't even know if he understood me.

I guess this number as some recruting company number as the person started asking me my professional details and wanted to know if i am open for a job with some of her client..She started asking all Personal details like SSN, DL and stuff and i just hanged up.

Got several calls from this number in Sept. 07.  We have caller ID so didn't pick up the first few calls.  Then I decided to answer.  It was a foreign sounding man speaking English and very hard to understand.  He knew my name and one of the medications I am taking.  How he got that info I don't know, it wasn't my pharmacy and it is very private stuff!

called for the second time in same number of weeks. First time got flustered when I asked who was calling, said he was from "Canadian Universal," a mortgage credit company or something to that effect, and hung up.
The second time, a few minutes ago, another guy called from the same #, called me by name, and said he was wondering if I would participate in a quick survey that would only take ten seconds of my time. I asked who he was and he said he was with Canadian Universal. Name sounded familiar and I STUPIDLY (I was distracted) started answering his questions (1. Are you the head of your household? 2. Have you travelled within the last five years? 3. When you travel do you prefer to use A. Express, Visa, or MC? 4. Are you married? 5. Is the average annual income of your household below $50,000 or above?). To be honest, I had a very bad feeling about answering any of the questions. Halfway through, in fact, i said, "wait, what kind of company are you?" He said we're a wholesaler. The truly amazing thing is that I answered his questions anyway- vaguely , but still. Hallmarks of scam.
After I hung up, I felt kind of panicky about knowing I had just given some degree of info to a scam artist. I looked up the # (hence this warning) because it seemed familiar and found this page, and also that the number hails from S. california (I am in Canada). Then I found that I had a message waiting on my phone. I called in to pick it up. It was from my Dad, using an internet calling service he had found called CALLCENTRIC, so that he could call me for less from the Middle East. GUESS WHAT THE CALLER ID # WAS??? that's why the number had seemed so familiar! It's the same # -626-771-0198. I called him right away on his home phone and told him to stop using that service; not to call anyone with it again. He told me that just this morning they had asked him to confirm identification. They have his c.c. #. Scary. Anyway BE WARNED!! And don't be a sucker like me.

This person also goes by the name Dan William...Iwas interested inpurchasing a yorkie and wouldnt you know he was selling yorkies too. He also sent me pictures for me to choose from. I responded to him by phone and told him no thanks as I thought he was from Orlando and wanted to see the puppies in person first. He said he was in NY and was not in FL. So I told him forget it. Hope he does not call me back or charge me for that call. It was 5:30 in the am...when he called and could hear traffic on the background. caller 626-771-0198.

I had the same thing happen to me that zul did. I was interested in a puppy and sent him an email. He sent me pictures of the puppies and said he could ship one out within 24 hours, I told him I wasn't interested because he was located so far away and not in Orlando like he said. Ever since he has been calling me at like 3:00 am and 6:30 am over and over again. I'm not sure what to do about it. It's really annoying.

Today I received one phone call from this phone number mentioned above. Luckily, as I never answer unknown phone numbers, I did not take the call...I will watch out for this phone number for the upcoming days. Thanks for the contribution on this page. Very helpful.

At 2:09 PM on Saturday February 16, 2008 I received a call from this number.  The caller asked for me by my first name and identified himself as 'Dr. Phil'. He then proceeded to be verbally abusive to me, made derogatory comments about my mother, asked me if I stole from the grocery store and then called me a b***h. I tried to call the number back and was told that the number was not accessible to my calling area. I think he intended to make me mad, but honestly I was more amused than anything.
