Got a call just now 100pm, it was a scam call for card holders something about lowering interest rate.. its a scam i dont even have a credit card im reporting this number. you should too  they used to call all the time under different numbers but they would all have that 000 in it.,

They call today and I pressed 9. The lady asked if i was calling about lowering my rates. I asked what company she was with and she hungup on me. I tried calling back, but no luck. How do I report this?

07/20/2010-------Calls fron 628-000-4862: Name Unavailable all throughout the day.  Will not leave message. Once I answered the phone but I did not say anything, line was silent on other end.

received a call from this number at 12:00 pm est on 8/05/10

I got call today from this number. I didn't answer and they left no message. It's good to know that I'm not the only one and the nature of the calls.

same thing happened with me today, other end was silent. concerning credit card rates, as others have identified this caller,don't have one. also have received other calls all concerning credit card rates,all having 000 as the prefix. 219-000-5567  729-000-4282   caller id shows "name not found" on all these calls.so much for dnc lists. believe mr. zoehler will be hearing from me

Got a call from this number today.  Also getting daily calls from a NY #518-745-7135.  Always at the same time, always leaves a weird recording about press 1 to accept the call.  I just wish they would stop calling.  I don't know how they got my number.  Haven't had any of these calls in a long time.

628-000-4862 number on caller ID. Once again,"Rachel from cardholders services...no problem w/ your account..." Hung up on recorded robo Rachel. Have gotten these calls all spring and summer. Like I would do unrequested financial  transactions over the phone! LOL!!!

Call this morning from subject number. Caller ID saves me a lot of time since I wont answer a call I do not recognize. AC 628 is apparently a new area code for the San Francisco Bay Area

today and for the past year Cardholder Services has been contacting me I have tried everything to get them to stop so I contacted a local attorney and after doing alot of research found this article hope it hepls:

Been calling me for 6 months. NEVER leaves a message. I'm on the DO NOT CALL registry and use Privacy Manager. Possibly a Bill Collector, but we wouldn't know because we NEVER answer the phone unless we are 100% sure we know who it is.

I've had my land line for about 4 months and started getting calls from these people right away. The calls aren't frequent, but I got another today. One time I punched a number after listening to Rache's pre-recorded message. The woman who answered had a canned response: Are you ready to lower your interest rates. I told her politely "no" and added that I'm on the do-not-call list and would like them to remove my phone number from their list. Total silence for about 5 seconds, and then the woman hung up. Thanks to the previous message with the link to report these people.

Got this call today . I don't answer any calls that hide their name or company. They left no message. I get calls all the time from these 000 numbers nd am tired of it. I'm on do not call list so how do you stop this nonsence.

Got a call from this number tonight.  Showed on my television briefly.  Did not answer.  Interesting that it did not show on my caller ID on my phone even though it rang 4 times.  I goggled 628 area code and the response was "could not find this area code...are you sure you entered it correctly?".  Whenever there are zeros for the first three numbers after the area code, I don't answer!

I get 10 calls a day from this number.. Finally I pressed 9 to speak with an agent. I proceeded to ask this person not to call, and they hung up. Since then, they have called back THREE times

annoying calls from this number offering a service to lower credit card rates.  I have requested several times to be removed from the list and most recently was told "that's not going to happen"  Even when requesting someone who could remove my name.  They also claimed today that the call was not covered under the telemarketing phone rules because they were in Florida.

That's nonsense. This is a national do-not-call list. Go to the do-not-call website and file a complaint. If enough people file complaints, maybe they will pursue it with the company.
