called back this number and  said if I want to be placed on the do not call list  press  1

It seems they are getting desperate. And that's the first one in a good many months. Yes its the same scam concerning lowering someone's credit card rates. It would be interesting to see where they are getting my phone number as I am not listed in Anywho or the Whitepages online database.

You number was probably dialed by a computer robodialler.  The next call would be one digit higher than your number.

Received call from "my bank" offering to lower my credit card interest rates. Obvious scam. (And I called the bank directly to ensure it really wasn't them, too).

I am registered on the Do Not Call list and these people keep calling me abouty credit cards... I do not have any credit cards. I asked to be taken off their list but they keep calling me.

It is a bogus operation that will never honor the law. Nor do they listen to people asking not to be called again. In fact they tend to hang up on you if you do not play into their trap. I learned the hard way that answering these calls only confirms your number and increases calls.

Just called my cell phone, did not answer because unknown number, did not leave a message.

Called at 2:18 PM - ID was "SURVEY" - message was, Hello, this is Heather from Account Services.  There is nothing wrong with your account but it's urgent you call us to get a credit card rate as low as 6.9%.....

That's NOT going to happen but at least these people have a very pleasant sounding woman leaving their message and she closed by saying, Have a really nice day."

Wanted to discuss current credit card rate.  I am on the Do Not Call list but apparently that makes no difference.  I hung up.

Called my cell saying voicemail no message scam

Called my cell phone at 5:30 in the morning! No message.  Put on my auto-reject list.

Called my cell, I didn't answer and they left no message.  Blocked.

Called me on my work cell that I have to always answer even it number is odd to me.Credit card scam about lowering your rates. No Caller ID

Called at 6:45 AM.I did not answer, they did not leave a message.

Called my cell while at work.  Only friends and family have this number.  This could get me in trouble.  Did not leave a message.

Unknown number, didn't answer and no message was left. Sounds like they're calling random numbers.

Called my cell, no message. Blocked. Really getting tired of these mystery scammers calling my work phone. Verizon : you need to stop this capping on your customers b/c you permit it!
