Called my cell, I answered by mistake and they immediately hung up.

Seems to a hospital room.  Misdial or a patient with issues?

I just called this # from a 'safe' line and there's an outgoing vm that says, you've reached a number that is being spoofed to make annoyance phone calls blah blah blah sorry etc Mail Box is full.

So seems some unfortunate soul at a business has had their phone # hijacked / spoofed by a robo dialer or something.

They call almost daily, about the same time each day. Probably since the 19th they called 4 times.

Called my cell -- no message, no name.  Then called my husband's cell.  Woman said she was from Direct Buy.

this number called my cell on 05-27-14, I don't answer if I don't recognize the number, it didn't leave a message.

Call once, hung up pre-voicemail.  Immediately called back, hung up on voicemail.

called me today. did not leave a vm, so it must not be important..another number to the block list

630-275-3759 called my cell and hung up.  I called the number from a landline phone and the VM said that this is a spoof number.  Need to block  and stop these calls.

Has called 3 times in as many days. No vm

Telemarketer.  Best Buy.  "Congratulations! You have been selected to receive from Best Buy ....."

Automated person saying its Best Buy and I qualify for a home makeover and I won a trip valued at $1200. I hung up as its a scam or telemarketers.  

SCAM ALERT ... I missed the initial call, dialed back and the voice message said you've reached a spoof number being used to make nuisance calls.  I would almost agree with the post above that some poor business owner has been hyjacked.  Block the number.

The cell rang and I heard an automated "goodbye" then called the number back from a land line and got another recording.  This time it was an older mans voice that said "you have reached a number that has been used for spoof calls we apologize"

Called and hung up as soon as I said hello. Then I came here to see what the deal was. Hope they don't call back.

I have a free app called Mr. Number and it works great in blocking calls that are considered spam.

how could they possibly get my cell number? I never provided it to any party except for my physician's offices. how could telemarketers intrude my privacy? what's the channel they get my cell number?

Called today, June 13, at 6pm.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  On the "Do Not Call List" but it didn't stop them from calling.   What a pain.
