I received a call from this number. The representative had a very heavy accent and was difficult to understand, so I had a hard time grasping completely what he was saying.
Here is what I could glean: The company Something-Global-Communications-something was 'inviting' me to attend a presentation in Irvine CA, where I would either accept or decline an offer, and where, regardless of my decision , I would receive an all expense paid vacation/cruise to Cancun, Mexico something-something...
The representative was very rude and pushy, speaking forcefully and loudly garbled attempts at words that I could not decipher, and repeating "OK?!" after every sentence.

i just got a missed called from number, they left no message this is the third time

this number called me in the morning around 10:15 and again around 7:30. I didn't answer and they did not leave a voice mail

The recording says Degree Match. They say it's a free service to match you with classes/degrees.

Ugh I am so mad this number is calling me now, which means one of these stupid job match sites snatched my number from an application.

I am on the "Do Not Call" list so don't know why these people keep calling my cell phone!  No one has my cell phone number except people I want to call me.  This is thoroughly disgusting and a waste of my time!  

I too am getting a few calls from this number.  Why can't we all block it?

These people call all the time. I am going to block it.  It is an intrusion on my daily life.  Someone else should call BBB. On them.  Wow

This is one of those timeshare places. They have offices all over the country.They have called me twice and my husband once, saying we won a cruise and a tablet plus airfare. We filled out one of those contest forms about 9 months ago at disney on ice. All you have to do is listen to their 90 min (really 4 hour) aggressive sales pitch. Scam!!!

this is exactly what happened.  i went to a job match site and filled out the info.  one thing i didn't want to do is agree to be contacted by a representative by telephone but the site would not let me go forward without agreeing.  now i am paying for it.  The phone calls started about an hour after I filled out the job match request.

This number keeps calling me like 3 times a day from early morning, I never answer, this is so annoying. They never leave a message.

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The most effective thing to do is to get a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

Google "call blocker" for more information, or visit Amazon or similar sales site.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service

* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.

* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

* Another option, for both smart and "dumb" cel phones:  Assign a "silent ringtone" as DEFAULT.  Then, assign your favorite ringtones to all known friends / family / business numbers.  That way, you will hear rings ONLY from those you wish to contact!  You will not hear scammers' rings, even if they change their number!

This number called my cell phone asking for someone who maybe had my number 15 years ago.  They said something about jobs.  They were told to stop calling, fingers crossed that they do stop.  I did file complaints with the FTC and FCC too.

Area code is in illinois. If caller is in California the number is being spoofed.

I just called the number back and the recording is for "Degree Match" you can listen to the recording and press 2 to be removed from the calling list.

I called the number back because they were calling several times a day and not leaving a message.  It is a telemarketing scam.
I blocked the number in my phone so they can't call anymore. This is super annoying.
