- billokc| 7 repliesReceived a call from this number at my business. I was not here at the time and there was no message on the machine.
- tx01| 1 replyRecieved call from this number, and they hung up as soon as I answered. I called back and got a busy signal several times, but finally got to an answering machine that identified the party as "Meribank National", or "Ameribank National"-I couldn't tell which. I pushed "3" to speak to an operator, but got a message saying that the party was not available, and that the voice mail "is not accepting messages at this time".
- Caller: "meribank", or "ameribank", national
- Jer| 2 repliesSome nasty lady from this number 630-625-7067 called and asked for me by name.. I said I was not here. She then asked if there was any other owner or partner she could talk to. I said, I will see, and put her on hold and left her there..
I found their web site www.ameribanccorp.com. It looks like a 4 year old put it together.. They claim to be a mortgage lender.. Not sure what this was about.. The lady would not let me take a message.
Sounds shady to me..- Caller: Ameribanc Corp

- Al| 1 replyReceived a phone call from a rather nasty gal, said her name was Linda. Said she was with American Bank. - Yeah right, sure. Said she wanted to sell me credit card access. Asked for me by first name, which only served to annoy me even more. Told this dumb broad to remove me off her junk call list, and never call me back ever again!
Her call came in at 9:56 AM, C.S.T. on 9/19/07. I also checked Google and there are additional complaints there as well, but this is about the best website so far in tracking scam-sters like this one.
I so hate intrusive government. But shutting down marketing companies and sleaze artists would be something that would be nice to see from our government, instead of all the moronic other laws that they invariably pass.
-Al - AnonymLady called and asked for my boyfriend by name. When told he wasn't here she asked if I was a partner so I asked what it was all about. She said she wanted to make an appointment to come talk to my boyfriend or his Partner tomorrow. We are in Venice Fl..her Caller Id said Chicago and she Identified herself as calling for Ameribank.

- Sparklies| 1 replyI just spoke to a Brian Mehrman at this number.
He informed me that legally "businesses" were not privy to the Do Not Call list - that only residential numbers qualified.
So that sucks.- Caller: AmeriBank

- IrritatedCall came through main company number, not my direct number. I let it roll over to voicemail and they left no message. When I looked the number up on the internet - I found this site.
- TooBusyReceived a call from this number wanting to change my source for credit card acceptance. Said they were from GlobalTech, also affiliated with AmeriBanc National.

- tacosThis guy at this number called for the owner when i asked what he needed he called me nosiey, then he asked if the owner was still the same, i said i guess, he called me f*cking as*hole, saying he had the the owners home number and blah blah blah. Rude guy has no idea who he was talking to.
- CarlaThis number called the company I work for. A lady asked for the owner by name. I told her that the owner wasn't available, and asked to take a message.
She then quite rudely said, "No thanks, hon," and hung up. - konabearCalled 10/31/2007, 11/02/2007, and 11/06/2007 from Caller-ID history. Called at least two more times not recorded. They are selling credit card processing. They refused to speak to my wife/partner in previous attempts.
I actually gave them the time of day on 10/31. I patiently showed the sales person that I wasn't a target market for her products. Too few sales at too few times of the year. Asked not to be called again.
I was rude to the lady on 11/2 and insisted to be taken off the list. Tried to dial the company back got "All circuits are busy now." recording.
On 11/06 I barely let the caller say hello before asking to speak to her supervisor. She quite glibbly stated that she didn't have a manager nor a supervisor. She took all her direction from the computer. I asked who paid her check, she glibbly said the CEO. Eventually she hung up on me.
This time I got an answer on by dialing back. Katie P., admin assist in Customer Service, says she submitted my phone number to be removed. She said that all sales people work for a supervisor.- Call type: Telemarketer
- Amarillo Business Connection| 1 replyAfter repeated calls from phone number: 630-625-7067, AmarilloBusinessConnection.com decided to get to the bottom of this issue and post our findings here as well as other websites of this nature to help in putting an end to this problem.
The people who call and answer their phones are very rude and refused to escalate this to upper management. Remember, consumers have a legal right to demand and speak to upper management, no matter what the circumstances.

- CLCBThis number calls my business 3-4 times a day. They are trying to sell credit card processing. We've just stopped answering when we see the number on caller ID. I tried to call back to be removed from their list and always get a recording that says the mailbox for the operator is full.

- DanSame as most of you, I have been getting calls daily for the last month, sometimes 2 and 3 times a day. All different callers. Once they asked for me and I told them Dan died the day before but his last request was that he removed from Ameribanc's phone call listing. That didn't work. The next day they asked for my successor when I said I died. I've called the number back before and they said they'd remove my number and I should understand that they had to make a living. Well.... they're still calling as much as ever. They aren't making any money off me, just wasting time. Phone company says that they cannot stop them. Now that sucks.

- Irritated in Texas| 1 replyWe are a business and have been getting these phone calls at least twice a day and sometimes 3 or 4 times every day. I am the office manager and have told them to stop calling...even talked to a supervisor one day and they said we would be removed from the list...not. 80% of the time they are very rude. I was told today, 1/23/08, that they had never called us before and that the owner had to request to be taken off. She kept arguing with me so I hung up. Still trying and will file a complaint immediately now that we have found this forum. I have been unable to find the source of these calls.
