Definite scam. They are calling & saying they are from Windows and found a problem on your computer.

I also got the same call.  Microsoft Windows calling saying a report was generated to their server re. bad activity on my computer.... I asked the rep to please provide me with the email addresses of the computers I have.  He told me he did not have this info.  I told him I will not be providing any personal info.  I told him I will be contacting my computer support rep to discuss this issue.  I told the rep as it stands ... I feel this a total fraudulant call.  End of call.
Telephone number was 1 630 694 1357.

Thsi is definately some bastured who hv nothing to do but to disturb others.Let him come afront then c his guts.

A gentleman said he was calling because my Internet Provider had given his company information that our pc was running slow. I had picked up the phone on the first ring and it took several seconds for him to speak, like a regular telemarketer. Liar.

change all your password and update all fire wall,,, DO NOT GIVE TO HIM THE IP ADRESS of your cumpurter

Just got a call from this number.  It's 11:15 pm!  She said she was calling from windows and that my computer was "putting out a lot of bad stuff".  I told her she woke me (she hadn't but hey it's 11:15 and she could have).  I basically hung up on her.  It sounded like a scam to me.

Got a call from the number at 9:04 p.m..  Picked up but just listened til 'it' hung up.  Usually just hang up after picking up.

I got a call from this number and he said he was calling from DIJ International..
I did not let him get any further because he called 5 minutes after I
had it out with a caller from  "something or other Technical" who called from
the number 201-491-7122 and THAT person.."Frankie"
said They are calling regarding a MICROSOFT issue  and found a problem with my computer
and they need to make an appointment to come into my home and fix it.  Yeah right.

Man calls, Indian accent, says his name is John, he is from Windows tech department, my computer is causing problems on their servers, wants me to do some things on my computer together with him.
I tell him that it is fine by me but I am at my work and  my computer is at home, switched off, so I ask him if he can call me back in 2 hours, then I will be home.
He says that it is okay, but he didn't call back in 2 hours, he called back on

I am living in The Netherlands. The only thing I recently did in the U.S. was register on eBay U.S. and register on PayPal U.S.
Is everybody, who has been called by this man, also registerd to either eBay or PayPal?
Than that is where he gets our phone numbers from...

when they say that they have been receiving messages from your computer, just say "oh, is that right?  Then what's my IP address?"  they'll just hang up...lol

Same here -- if they can't provide you with the "offending" IP address, they are phishing.

This is an unsolicited caller. I have asked toberemoved from their call list and they refuse to do it they say they represent Microsoft.

I have been getting calls as well. I have resorted to answering the phone speaking Italian. I say" hello can I help you ?" ( in Italian) I hear nothing two seconds later it says goodbye and hangs up. I get to smile about it im going to keep doing this. Makes me happy inside to screw with them. next time I might change it up.

Got the same call as other people on this page. Soon as I saw it was long distance I just knew it was going to be a scammer trying to get something for nothing.

They are still making these calls. They say that they are from Microsoft.

Called, and talked with my grandmother. The lady was talking so fast, my grandma couldn't make out anything! So, she then asked "Hi How are you today?" And my grandmas responds "Fine, but I couldn't understand anything you just said." The lady then proceeded to tell my grandma "Well do you know hoe to go F*ck yourself?

This is a scammer. Report all calls to the government who can take action against them. Go to www.donotcall.gov.

I received a phone call from somebody speaking heavily accented English from a New York number, (607) 795-4626 today at 1:11 p.m. I could barely understand what he was saying. He wanted to talk to the "owner of your computer". I told him he was a scammer.  He sounded incredulous and asked, "Who told you THAT???"   I hung up and at 1:12 p.m. I received a call from the number (630) 694-1357. It sounded like the same man.

Just got the 9:11 am EST no one on other end. SCAM.

YO tambien he recibido una lamada de este telf. de una duracion de 1 hora y 30 minutos. y me han entrado por control remoto a mi computadora. Me han estfadao 349 USD pues han ofrecido en nombre de MIcrosift un reparacion inexistente de mi ordenador a cambio de 10 Euros, los cuales se transformaron en un total de 439 Euros. una de las partes de la transaccion bancaria iva por western Union a Austria por un importe de 193 Eur. y 269,89 a NUeva delhi a traves de Corporation Bank.
