West-Suburban Chicagoland. Capone's ghost haunts the region. Fortunately, few can scam as well as he did. And even that SOB got caught. But area-codes can be fabricated, anyhow: I've lost count of the number of calls I've gotten from "people" in the fine area-code of 000, etc. Don't trust anybody until you know them. Sad, but necessary.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone. I'm on Do Not Call List. I didn't answer this call since I didn't recognize the number. When I researched it, the info came back "Dir Market Linkx" in Lombard, IL. Have NO idea what it could be about, and don't care. I'm assuming it's a dumb telemarketer.

they called and when i answered, it immediately disconnected. It's a tracfone number. Thought maybe it was tracfone trying to make me waste my minutes so i have to buy more.

Someone just called me from this number and asked for me, and when I told them they were speaking to me, they hung up.

Have gotten 2 calls within 5 hrs. No message. I am also on the Do Not call List for both Cell and land. This is very tiresome. I never give my cell # out to anyone, or use it on any paperwork.

I just got the call a few minutes ago too. When I called it back it was "continuing education" and I was able to put my # on their do not call list. HA! We'll see if it works. I am on the federal do not call list but still got the call. The only thing I can think of is that I am doing online college and they must have sold my phone number...dang them..

I got 4 calls from this number just in one day!!!!!!! I dont answer calls if I dont know who's calling. The didn't leave a message too.

I got the same thing. It is an automated internet college response. I got it within minutes after "unsubscribing" my email address on Outlook.

ive gotten two calls from this number so far, and both times it has woken up my sleeping child. im trying to figure out why the calls have all been within the last 24 hours. seems a little goofy to me. i called back and selected to not be called. i sure hope is works! good luck to everyone else as well!
