I know nobody from Glen Ellen IL. This was on 2/4/14 at 7:37 PM CT on a Landline. So tired of scam stuff.

ID says Glen Ellyn. no message and always hangs up

Answered and was greeted by a man from the Fraternal Order of Police.  I quickly told him to take us off their calling list and he laughed and replied that "there is no calling list".  Reporting this call to Naperville Police

What do you expect the Napervill police to do......call out the swat team?   Just move on....

6307937908 called me for the gazillionth time. They want money for free. First they will ticket you for any reason, arrest you for any reason, have cameras at every stop light to suck you dry of all your money, then they harass you at your home for donations. A lovely racket by our men in blue I must say.

Yes this is some kind of "fundraising" call. They told me it was for the (Du Page) county sheriff's officers. And, I was informed at the start that the call was being recorded! This is a scam. If 10% of money donated gets to a legitimate police charity I'd be amazed. More likely, this is NOT an authorized third-party fundraising company or they'd honor requests to remove one's number from their database. Even if they are legitimate, the slice of any donations they keep is larger than the amount passed on.

I answered this call because it was a local area code and the caller ID identified a suburb next to my own. The caller was not rude, but persistently read from a script each time I declined to donate. As a law enforcement family (US Marshal's Service) we support LE charities directly. DO NOT GIVE UNKNOWN CALLERS PERSONAL INFORMATION, ESPECIALLY YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.

They called and I thought it was my lawyer so I called back and said number wasn't available...just don't call me it's plain and simple

OK: I got this call the 1st time on 2/4/14 from Glen Ellen IL. As I'm reading here, it's a FOP $cam. If they were legit the Organization would clearly show up. But nooooooo! These fools called on 7/31/14 @ 8:54 PM CT! Seriously??? 1st off: that's after Business Hours & 2nd it's NOW coming up as UNKNOWN. Between Private Numbers/Out Of Area & UNKNOWNS WHY can't these #'s be traced? It's so annoying & downright RUDE!

I live in the 708 area code.  Cook County is not part of DuPage, yet they call me anyway.  I just got the third phone call in a month from them.

Scammers. Hook up your phone to a fax machine... They will take your number off their list

i had a long conversation with these people today . fraternal of police stuff . there a bunch of gay police men looking for beer money for there monthly parties . they also stated they needed money for purchasing dresses for there annual fashion show which they themselves preform in . there harmless really just dont tell them any info and you will be fine . while your having fun there making phone calls all day sound like they have know one in there life that keeps them busy , i don't know how they got to be cops!

Called yesterday evening. Didn't say nothing but could noise in the background. Said Hello twice, then hung up

I told him that I already gave to the Naperville Special Olympics and he go upset with me kinda of rude.

i rec the # as either the vets scamming or the police scam thing and the guy is Rud  mostly he hangs up on machine, I just blocked the # from the at& t site, yes!

Called landline & left no msg. Blocked them, based on comments above -- thanks!

The caller claimed to be from the police dept. and want to talk to my husband. I ask him again what's do you want. He hung up. This is a scam since caller I.D is not from a legitimate Company that I can recognize.

I answered the call from 630-793-7908 but didn't say anything for 10 seconds. Then I said, "There isn't anybody there", after which I heard the caller disconnecting the call. The Caller ID showed GLEN ELLYN  IL.

well the fake FOP $cammer is backkkk. He was UNKNOWN now back to Glen Ellen IL WHY don't these idiots leave people alone? On 1/5/17 @ 3:03 PM CT BLOCKED since 2014 & he STILL tries!
